I reckon I might just pit after the first lap.... and stay there for the duration. I can then nip to the pub and enjoy a few pints while you lot sweat yer nuts off bombing round here. Bet I'd still pick up a few points

I've already written off around 20 nice new KC 911's during just one hours practice. Got a new pb though . Those tyre walls have a strange hypnotic hold over me. Can't be scarier than driving the Beamer around there with the NGT/GT boys, like I did last year. I reckon 50% will finish.

yeah, Enna is really not too bad IMO, and good thing is a season can often be won or lost there, since its often the place that one rival will survive and the other/s may not

I like the track but the gt2 a real handfull over the kurbs, catch one wrong and it pitchs the car in all sorts of directions. I can see myself lasting 4 laps maybe 5 before i end up in the barrier. my PB is 1.37.7 only 7 sec of the pace. beware of a slow moving gt2 at every kerb

Have you tried that on the GT2?

There's no avoiding the curbs here. This means not so strong fast dampers which means car can hit curbs and absorb energy but takes an age to settle afterwards. Got to use some packers and fairly high front ride height which also adds to resettling time plus less downforce from ground effect!! I'm not too quick at Enna but if you can keep on the brakes into curbs with Porsche, should give a better ride - cause the trick is with curbs is to get as close to neutral weight bias as possible. Then it will ride the curbs like they ain't there.. but if you try accelerating over curb, specially in Porsche [rear engine] the rear will bunny hop like crazy and front won't steer. And not too easy getting tyre temps up cause there's no fast third gear type bends, all ikky fanikitty .. if tyres linger around 70 - 80 this will not be using all potential grip.

I tryed the lot over the last few months, normally i get the porker to handle consistently, not fast, but predicable. but hitting the last set of kerbs is a lottery as were the car will go. My plan is to change my lines aliitle and not push to hard at the last set of circanes and bring it home, slow and steady. With the nature of the track a few people will crash out on the tyres walls. maybe the tortoise will win lol. To go fast you need a low rear wing setting but the gt2 doesn't allow for that over 80 minutes

Greg has given up his full time sport in GT; Mo requested to move into it from NGT so I've said he can do so effective immediately.
I expect I'll announce a new full time NGT runner shortly.
