Would some be kind enough to host the replay anyliser file? Would be interested to see laptimes for everyone as the results above only list the fastest laps.
Gotta say that was one of few races that i've actually enjoyed, actually had people to race against
Though It has shown that next season i need to try and limit myself to just two classes to try and give me time to practise and get comfortable with the car.
I have the same problem and I have taken the decision to only drive GT1 in either Lister Storm (Racing Version) or the Aston Martin DBR9 (If it is going to be available in season 09)
I will never be as fast as thous that has fallen for the "RED" decease, but I will hopefully gain some other attributes that is just as important as in putting one self on the podium...
The Lister is NOT slow on tracks like Brno or twisty tracks like it. My PB in the Lister at Brno is a respectable 1.52.621.
I might with a race setup maybe do times in the region 1.53-54 or at the same pace as a DBR9.
The thing is (as I see it) that the Lister have a narrow line of how big of an error or misstake you can do before it snaps at you with the result of an NO win situation. (Gravels or the barrier in my case)
However the car in the right hand will make ANY Ferrari or Saleen driver furious... if you drive it fast and can do so at a consistent pace making them unable to shake you off
Lack of top speed and HP makes the car very hard to race with when there is other cars that have 20-35 HP more and are not as a hard to drive consistent with at race pace. My help to you right now, is.
Drive slower to gain a more precise cornering technique with better speed OUT of the corner then IN to it. (in just changing you'r race line a bit you might step on the throttle earlier out of the corner)
Further more I urge you to buy 2 books "
Speed secrets & Inner speed secrets" by Ross Bentley.
Thous books are made for race drivers by a race driver, and when we now are driving a SIM that is mimicking that sport it's easier to learn from thous that has the knowledge and have driven for a longer period of time.
And ask here on the forum or at the server on how to set up the car up better for a specific track ( I am known to be a "PAIN" in the
rear...cause I never stop asking
)
Thats probably why my Team manager want's me in the "Oil pit" where I do minimum damage and are out of harms way... right boss /Jorgen
