No race today? NGT? I'm hoping to release the 'final' pack tonight ready for a short test season to begin on Sunday so any race tonight will be unofficial.

Would some be kind enough to host the replay anyliser file? Would be interested to see laptimes for everyone as the results above only list the fastest laps.
If no-one does it sooner I can hopefully bung it up when I get home and before I head out tonight. Stoopid t*scali don't let me upload from a non-t*scali connection.

Right, I remember some close laps with Mr. Oily and when we (I think with Gazza) finally managed to pass him, he drove into the sand and disappeared. Err, it wasn't personal. You're on good pace with the car (DBR, was it?), Mr. Oily, I'm looking forward to next races. Lol it was a disgrace TT - I qualified mid grid I think but ended up third for the start thanks to the randomizer. I wasn't expecting that at all so it threw me a little trying to work out if I'd actually qualified there - not wanting to waste the opportunity though I went as fast as I could possibly manage for the opening laps, snatched a couple of places and built a bit of a lead. The whole time I was trying to work out what I'd done wrong, thought I'd short fuelled or something but the answer I think was probably a combination of the grid shuffle and the fact that others were looking after their tyres while I had great fun sliding my wagon of choice about all over the place. First time I'd tested the Aston properly and it was great, balance felt good and I had some good opening laps. Had a good dice with H@L9000 for the lead on seriously worn rubber, and tried desperately not to look at the GTR PD which was on a soapbox with a megaphone screaming at me to pit. I carried on hoping to reach half distance but missed apex after apex and it set me back loads. Bizarrely I then just started to lose the will and my concentration, by the time you got past TT I'd had enough and parked it in disgust. I think that's a first, maybe I was all Evo'd out from the afternoon I don't know - those Radicals around Brands Hatch Indy are quite an intense experience! Anyway apologies, won't be doing that again.

I qualified mid grid I think but ended up third for the start thanks to the randomizer. I don't think we did a qualifying session. I'm pretty sure we did Practice sessions 1 & 2. I saw it at the time but just assumed it was a mistake & Qually would come up next, but the next session actually turned out to be the race.

There was a 5 minute qualifying session, so you had to be quick to get a lap in at all.

I think Legzy's right, the second session was P2 not Q2. Not that it really mattered!

Nope, I enjoyed the randomness . Being ahead of most people on the grid (about 5th I think), I had a much more enjoyable race. I saw a lot more action as people had to catch & overtake me, while normally I start at the back & watch you all disappear If JPS had started ahead of me, I'd have missed out on a race length worth of nose2tail racing.

Yes great fun Legzy, good gentleman racing I think I counted every rivet on the rear of your car by the time we had finished

I'm hoping to release the 'final' pack tonight ready for a short test season to begin on Sunday so any race tonight will be unofficial. I have eventually found a little spare time ...so if anyone does want to do an unofficial race tonight, I will be glad of the practice and available to set the server etc....let me know.
