I've read the sporting regulations, downloaded and installed both the skinpack and the circuit, studied a replay for the rolling start procedure (new for me) and assigned a button on my trusty old MS FF-wheel for the pit limiter. All that's left to do is putting in some laps at Trois-Rivieres and deciding between the Healey and the Alpine as I haven't raced either one yet. I guess I'm all set for may 17th.

I've tested both cars on my LAN server to check the track out that it worked ok online and my times were almost identical in the two cars. Didn't spend any time setting up the cars so I'm sure the times will come down from the 1:20s I was doing.

I just love this Renault, and the track, finally feeling I can have fun. IMO the Renault is very good balanced.
The Healey on the other hand is probably faster, but I can't turn it, and it most of the times I spin on exit. Seems it has the worst tires in this game all together.
Looking forward to the 17th.

Nice to see a couple of new drivers posting their intention to race GTL too. Hope thats a sign of things to come as people find their 'classics' racing options limited elsewhere. I still believe there is quite a following of people wanting to race classic cars online, just look at the amount of real world classics events that have sprung up all over the globe in the last year, its just making them aware of where to find it i guess.

Watching the Sky Sports recap of the first Heritage GT race yesterday I got the impression that the FIA Historic TC/GTC series has collapsed.

hi all, hopefully i can make this race (if there is room). The track is new to me...and so are both cars more or less - i've raced the A110 twice before i think? Anyway i had a quick go....and well both are very different cars but with me at wheel the times are very similar. Both have character - which as we know makes GTL so great. Keith

The track looks daunting but after a few laps it's quite easy to remember and it's not particularly long. Healey is quite a FUN handful, whereas the Alpine is more a precision instrument. Healey will beat the Alpine down the straights but the Alpine is much easier to get round without fishtailing your arse into the concrete walls.
