To start the ball rolling...... After a couple of dozen laps 1:53.720 with race fuel in the 430. Getting it right through the chicanes seems to be the key....still looking Great track

Hoping to get on the server tonight with Lazlow, to try & get back to the 1:50.9 I managed here in the F430 last time round. I'm sure that'll be quick enough to see off MJ & his limp wrist

Dammit, 2nd Disco in a week in GTR2 i think its graphics related as updated my nvidia drivers last week and now two screen freezes in succession during my racing. Imola is never a kind track to me. Was pushing like a madman tonight but could make no dent on the guys ahead who all steadily pulled away from me. Got bored about mid race when i had a 10 sec gap to cars ahead and 10 sec gap to cars behind whilst running 7th and then mistakes crept in as my concentration waned a bit. Then after an off at that bastich hill top chicane, which i loathe, spanner started to close on me fast and woke me up again. Alas about 2 laps later the screen froze as i was halfway through that same chicane. Hope spanner didnt run into my discod car as assume it froze mid track The porsches seemed to get trounced by the fezzas at this track not quite sure why all the porkers have ballast and torque reductions and the f430 has no hindrances? They seemed more than a match last season. But this place with its high kerbs and jinking chicanes is never going to suit a pendulum swinging rear engined car like the 997. Jon was in another league altogether in it !...sure he's not Mika Salo/Jaimie Melo in disguise?

Blah a disco Can only think that it was my other half attacking ebay with all her money on the wireless. Never had a disco so far with sky so was surprised when it happened. Was my car looking solid during the race to anyone? I know Sharky commented that he couldn't see me at the start. Apart from that it was going well for me I had the car set up low so it was fast around the track and I just had to be careful at the chicane. I had 2 little offs. one where I put the right side of the car on the grass and then braked and another trying to go over the chicane. Was happy with the race pace tho' and felt I could've gone faster if needed. Hope everyone had a good race Jon was in another league altogether in it !...sure he's not Mika Salo/Jaimie Melo in disguise? Disco league for us MJ

Great circuit great race Imola has been kind to me before, scored my first podium here (2nd) Got shunted up the back about 3/4 laps in going into the fast left right chicane by 57 Goldtop (no worries 57 Goldtop one of those things) and ended up flying across the track as a passenger and collected two GT3 cars I think...very sorry about that, as I said at that point I was just a passenger in the car, hope it didn't ruin your race to much. Fought back tooth and nail and managed to finish 8th

One of my favourite tracks and a much more enjoyable outing than 2w ago. Lost a place early on to Picnic and then a bit later to DG. Managed to catch him up again but he pitted just as I got close. I went in one or two laps later and rejoined in an identical position just a second or two behind him. A great few laps followed as I tried without success to get past, trying to set up a passing opportunity under braking (no chance along the straights of course). Unfortunately it all went wrong at the chicane as I thought I had enough room in the braking zone, but didn't. I clipped his back end and sent him spinning - apologies for this misjudgement I waited for him to rejoin - too long as it turned out I was now 6 seconds behind. Never really recovered after this with too many mistakes creeping in. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. Can't make the next one so see you in a month

Awful race for me; must have done 100+ laps around here over the last few days and couldn't get anywhere near the pace. My quali of 1:52.153 was a PB but only just scraped in ahead of the GT3 guys. There appeared to be a few cars missing from the grid at the start (never had that happen before) but they were present on the formation lap and onwards. Had an ok start and picked up a place when Spanner ran wide, but was soon under pressure as he recovered. Had a run on JPS going up to Tamburello, but got over ambitious and stuck my nose in where I shouldn't have. Contact appeared to be only slight, but the consequences were severe as JPS said earlier. My apologies to JPS and those who were caught up in the aftermath:-[ One strange thing: I received a Stop/go but I had to enter the pits 3 or 4 times before the pit board options appeared. I thought I was going to get DQ'd but finally I was able to serve the penalty, but by this time I was well behind. Spent the last 50 mins circulating and trying to keep out of everyone's way in the hope of getting some team points

What a crazy race. I was surprised by my qualifying pace and my best race lap was about 2 seconds slower than my qualy lap. I have no idea why the difference was so big. I got attacked by many drivers rite from the start and by the end of the first lap I had lost 4 or 5 places. It was one hell of a lap though fighting with so many drivers. I managed to get up to 2nd place with 20 odd minutes remaining but then got a stop & go after getting a few warnings during the race. I had a good chase with Jose. I could see that he was also pushing very hard and we took it in turn to make mistakes and pass each other for a while. After my stop and go I came out of the pits into the middle of a fight between Legzy and Spanner. I pushed far too hard at this point and made some mistakes. I ended up in 7th. :'( Sorry TT, I think I bumped you at one point. I need to check the replay to see if I need to say sorry to a few other drivers as well. It was fun though. Well done podiums.

Well, I did about an hour's practice for that one. It didn't show though - as I had been practicing in the C6-R, having got myself in a complete tiz over what series it was this weekend! A great few laps followed as I tried without success to get past, trying to set up a passing opportunity under braking (no chance along the straights of course). Unfortunately it all went wrong at the chicane as I thought I had enough room in the braking zone, but didn't. I clipped his back end and sent him spinning - apologies for this misjudgement I could see you sizing me up and I waited and waited and waited to turn in and eventually decided you weren't going to have a go after all, turned in, and... wham! Very difficult with the big difference in cornering versus straight line performance of the 350Z versus the Vertislow, but it certainly made for an interesting race!
