Unlucky Pribeiro! I had a few technical issues myself this race. The FF on the old MS SW FF started to intermittently cut out in quall. Thought I had cured it by repositiioning the wire but it started happening again in the race. Also looks like I broke a spring on the throttle which eventually forced me to retire. Sorry to whoever got caught up in my car after I lost control. Time to invest in a new G25 I think. Nev

nice racing dudes, for the most of the time iwas on my own, after i had pribeiro's car right in front of me frozen on the track. anyways i couldn't keep up with anybody. i think my setups aren't that good. i was losing 1 sec per lap on the next car. and finally the engine blew. other problem could be my pedals are not working good anymore, i had a broken spring, i have put i new one in, but it looks like it is not giving 100% anymore.
hmm maybe also time for a new wheel or pedal assembly.

yea i didnt have the best of times this evening! had done a bit of practice for this race and was looking in good shape! claus managed an incredible 19.7 in qually to my (extrememly pleased) second spot of 20.4 1 min to go to race and i get a disco! so have to start from the back of the field! race start and got thro the ngt's as quick and safe as i could, i think it took 4 or so laps, thanks ngt guys for being predictable! after that caught a 4 5 car chain at the back of the gt field, and was stuck for around 4 or so laps not finding a way past, but then tyrs started to wear out infront of me and i was able to dive up the inside of a few cars! got myself into 5th with 20 secs to 4th with around 50 mins to go, pitted with 40 mins to go and just got out in 4th with around 11 secs to third after everything shook out, started really putting some laps in when i discoed again how ever I enjoyed the race and i am looking forward to a good battle for season 5

Bad luck Enzo! Had a nice qualy at 3rd just behind Ruskus. Race went excellent chasing him One lap the gap got closer, the other lap it went a bit bigger again. My front tyres didn't last 40 minutes though, so got into a battle with Radius and B Kerr for a while Decided for an early pit, so I can get the time back with fresh tyres. But in the pit I kinda screwed up because somehow my starter button was unbound... Lost too much time with that, so after a few laps I got back in the row with them Think it would've been a great fight but unfortunately an accident happend at mercedes arena and I couldn't avoid it... damaging about everything possible. Repairs would take around 3 minutes so well end of race really.

another race to forget for me. Didnt get the best preparation having been heavy drinking and late nights since thursday on a leaving doo and stag doo Struggled around near the back but gradually made a few places as people had off's or troubles. Did my pitstop only to receive a stop and go for speeding which is very odd as i let the AI do the pit limiter off at end of pitlane So came around to re-pit and the stupid buggers tried to give me another full pitstop. In my confusion/disgust i hit escape by mistake and it DNF'd me D'oh. Are you supposed to do anything different for a stop and go ? (it was my first with GTR2)

Enjoyed that one greatly.
Never managed to match my pace while practicing the other day, but car felt superglued to the track apart from a few mistakes I made. Shame I'm not as good as driver as some others but the car felt spot on, my best set up so far.
I damaged the car after only a few laps. Right behind Jimmie he suddenly swerved right and a stationary BMW looked like had frozen in middle of track. I actually hit it very hard but for some reason it only caused a small amount of damage. The damage however made the car understeer going right. Suffered it to pit stop, then repair made car so much better again.
Held off Radius for about 12 laps and he took advantage of a back marker slowing me out of a bend to ease past me down the straight. He pitted before me and I thought a few quick laps might see me out in front.
A couple of back markers having a little battle came together and I was passing when he moved right back across, pushing me on to the grass losing too much time. Obviously never noticed me. I then went off on my own accord to make sure I was never going to come out ahead of Radius. Was pulling him in towards the end and only wished for another few laps to have a go.
Great race everyone and enjoyed it immensely

Short and sweet race report.... 1st half of race 2nd half of race Thanks TT for the great battle. Shame I went and lost it with 1 lap to go though as gawd only knows what would have happened on last lap. Very few people I'm happy to race that close for that long with and you are one of them.

So came around to re-pit and the stupid buggers tried to give me another full pitstop. Are you supposed to do anything different for a stop and go ? (it was my first with GTR2) At the pitboard you will see something like STOP/GO: Yes You could change it to No, if you're in serious need of fuel and come back a lap later for the STOP/GO. But by default you can just press enter and do the stop and go

Well certainly enjoyed that , had long battles with Jure and Flybri initially and then Paul Richards for the second half of the race, I was more than happy with my setup, I felt comfortable with it so I could keep up the pace, man this track chews your tires, I even had a tyre warning!( a first for me!) 9 laps before I was due in so those last few laps cost me dearly as Paul was in front of me after I pitted , Ngt's were fair when being lapped although it's always a bit touch and go if they're fighting amongst themselves, as you don't want to spoil their fight ( hope I didn't interfere TT and Shark) All in all I know I finished where I was because of retirements but at least I kept it on the Island!

Enjoyed that one although it was hard work! Got a good qually time not too far off my PB set on the very last lap so started quite high up the grid. Pace lap all went fine but then as soon as we started the FPS dropped and it was jerking all over the place into corners. Was still able to drive as it wasn't too bad but then into the right hander at the beginning of final sector it nearly came to a standstill and the car behind suddenly jumped into the back of me. Apologies to whoever it was and I thought about retiring but it speeded back up again.
Rejoined just after the lead NGT of Paul and it was still pretty bad but drivable. Decided just to stay there and after another lap whatever my PC was doing stopped and FPS was back up to normal! Then the fun started with I managed to catch a 4 car battle behind teammate Bri. Enzo then caught me making a long train. Good racing for a few laps then after a spin or two Enzo got away and I found myself near Madd Rip. We battled right up to the pit stop and I came while in just behind him. After coming out he was behind me and then a lap later he pitted. I pushed hard and overtook as he came up to speed out of the pit lane. He then had a little spin but it couldn't have been too bad as I got caught up with the NGTs he was soon behind again. It was then my turn to make a mistake and he got by. Apologies if this off interfered with the Shark - TT battle I had just got past. I chased him for the rest of the race but couldn't close to more than 3 secs behind. Good race mate! Congrats to the winners.

I see we all had plenty of problems Had great battles, then clipped flybri going into last turn and decided it's time for a stop/go penalty. Now guess who hit escape button by mistake while pitting... Was fun though.

Had a look at replay, it's about 490 that the collision with BMW takes place. It looks like Jimmie clipped it too. The BMW does not actually appear in the replay so I guess it was a glitch rather than an accident.

Shame I went and lost it with 1 lap to go though as gawd only knows what would have happened on last lap. Very few people I'm happy to race that close for that long with and you are one of them. Had the same uneventful 1st stint. Had 18 seconds gap to Shark behind me. When I pitted, I just pressed "enter", so that I would loose as little time as possible. Somehow that sneaky Shark managed to have 18 seconds shorter pitstop than me! Oh, dear! We exited the pit side by side and then the race truly began. We were glued all the way to the finish, swapped positions a few times and at the same time tried to avoid GTs. Was prepaired for the final lap horrific battle when I saw Shark spinned at the accelerating in the Stadium. So I just cruised to the finish. Nice driving Shark, tough, fair and safe as usual. Jeez, look at the championship results! One race to the finish and anything is possible. Too bad the Legends were absent tonight. Even MJ didn't finish and I think this is the end of a dream for NGT championship win. Good race! TT
