Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk GTC
Password: see above (#post_event_password)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=375&theme=5)

Special Notes: None

Cut Police will be mainly watching Chicane du Port and Piscine  ;)

Not sure if I can make this one yet  :-\

Had a few laps and I'm taking Chicane du port flat and looking at my replays it really doesn't look like a cut (except when I get it wrong, in which case I lose time anyway). Surely braking or lifting here will increase the chance of a race ending shunt  :o

I also noticed the Scirocco has trouble entering the game and is askew in the garage.

You neither need to brake or lift, just steer

I think there may be an issue here with the VW. I have trouble leaving the garage and the handling feels bad. Bit late to do much about it now  :(

Quicksilver is online now in one of the VW trans-ams and he says it drives OK.

Probably the most complimentary thing one could say about a VW  ;)

That was a short race - suspension knackered (technical term  ;D).

Only consolation, my fastest GTL lap at this track during qualifying and less cut track infringements than last race.  ;D

Another fun one for me.

I was looking forward to this race as its probly my favorite track bar none.

Thought I had pole but phspok managed to get me with only a min or 2 left but managed to get a flying start and for 5 laps or so he was only a few seconds behind me then he must have slowed somewhere as I pulled away and managed to stay out of danger.

See you next time folks. Thanks tony.

That was a long car to take around this twisty track Bill.

I take it all the variations of the VW count as one for this?? i.e. I can't use the TransAm version 4 times then use the GT3 version 4 times too??
