(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: None

Unfortunately the transition from day/dusk/night isn't implemented too well at this track. Fair to say it will never be too dark.

I've downloaded the 3 cars and they are shown as available but I am unable to buy a car (the icon to By Car is not high lighted). I think either a file has been corrupted or deleted. Will investigate further.

Do you have enough money? Thank for that Tony the answer is NO. How do I get more money please? Do I need to delete all cars and tracks and re-install or is the a simpler way?

There's a cheat you can run, that gives you a lot of money. Can't remember offhand how it works, but will try and check, once I get home. Cheers, Erling

Cheers, Erling Thanks Erling, I have the usual cheat all cars and all tracks but after many years of online racing I'm down to 150 credits which is insufficient to buy a car for this race. Good news I'm OK for Monday's CanAm race as I have the complete set of cars, as I have for the various Series we've already raced in. I've over a week to find the solution for this race. As Tony asked the right question I hope there is a simple solution like changing a line somewhere to top up my credit account. Cheers Bill

Choose a downloaded car that your not currently using. Edit it's cash value (it's near the bottom) by entering the .car file . Sell the car.

Then edit the car value again to 1 and re-buy it

Hi Bill, Do you mean you can't find the value or you can't open the file?
The car value is near the bottom...
Number=5 Team="Aston Martin Lagonda" PitGroup="Aston Martin" Driver="Graham Whitehead" Description="Aston Martin DBR2" Engine="Aston Martin" Manufacturer="ASTONMARTIN_DBR2" classes="SIM_FULL, SIM_LM55, SIM_4SDBR2, SIM_TOURING, SIM_DAG3NOT, SIM_GTC65" ComparativeTime=110 Value=270000
If you can't open the file because nothing is associated with the file type you should be able to just double click and then select notepad from a list of available programs to open it with.
Just a useful hint... I have notepad configured in my "sendto" folder (So if I right click I can send any file to notepad - Many files are simply text files regardless of the extension).
An alternative is if you already have the cheat installed create a new driver.. That will give you all the credits back. (Only works with drivers created after installing the cheat)
TTFN John.

Thanks John, that was my problem opening the file I didn't want to screw up. With over a week before the race I'd thought it was best to wait for advice. Now I know I can use note pad I'll be able to get on with it.

Now I know I can use note pad I'll be able to get on with it. Had a similar problem long time ago. If I remember right I was able to solve it by adding a line "locked=0" under the line "value=..." where it was missing. Some cars have it, some not. Number=5 Team="Aston Martin Lagonda" PitGroup="Aston Martin" Driver="Graham Whitehead" Description="Aston Martin DBR2" Engine="Aston Martin" Manufacturer="ASTONMARTIN_DBR2" classes="SIM_FULL, SIM_LM55, SIM_4SDBR2, SIM_TOURING, SIM_DAG3NOT, SIM_GTC65" ComparativeTime=110 Value=270000Locked=0No idea, if I can check/reproduce that issue when I'm at home.

Alternatively Bill could edit the values of the cars he needs to buy to £1 each
