What if snow is forecast?

The race formats for the comming P&G season look great. I like the fact, that you have the chance to race both the small cars ( my favorites ) and the musclecars.
As always, you have planned far ahead Tony, and I'm sure we all appreciate that.
Very nice work Tony

Tony is too modest. I am only owning the P&G name mostly so he doesn't end up being "responsible" for everything in the known universe My middle series will need dual nationality, or previous 007 experience.

So this means OK for the Mustang BSCC as well as Mustang TA correct ? Stig

Since the BBC are saying heavy rain for Thursday I guess that you are going to ruin this race by making it wet.
To be perfectly honest, my first instinct is to do something else on Thursday.
Since the default British weather forecast, and safest bet for the Met Office, is always for rain I think that this series could be a bit of a washout.

With the risk of being quarantined from SBRC's annual christmas-party, I'd like to say, that I strongly disagree on this matter. It will be fun to try something new, and if you put on soft wet tyres, you'll find it's not that different. Perhaps the grip is too good to be realistic. I just tried the Mustang in 80 % rain, and it wasn't difficult to drive. In fact I find Snetterton / dry a bit dull, so I welcome the extra spice added. Stig

Yeah except I took Sundays forecast WHICH WAS FOR DRY. Which is why the race announcement now says DRY. Oh, and thanks for sharing your enthusiasm. Maybe you can run this from now on because quite frankly I'm sick of all the whinging.

There only included in the tyre selection menu cos there hard coded into GTR2 and the P&G boys couldn't lose them. P&G doesn't have a wet tyre option. They didn't have such things in the 60's. I take it you never downloaded the tyre document from the P&G site?

If you look at Sunday's weather on Sunday is that actually a forecast? I originally read it in line with your intention but was then persuaded otherwise.

Sorry Clive, you caught me in the middle of a perfect storm of a carp day yesterday. Calm has returned today. I see how my intentions regarding the weather thing were missunderstood. It was clear in my head but I should have explained it better. I saw Thursdays racing as actually occurring in a virtual kinda way on a Sunday afternoon. Hence my alluding to using the actual weather as forecast for that region on the Sunday before the race. I also found a site that forecasts weather specifically for Motorsport tracks and has more detail than the dear ol Beeb. So to clarify. Thursdays races take place on Sundays. Sundays weather occurs on Thursdays. There, that's all clear now isn't it

Is there any seasonal car enforcement in this series or free for all? I always think we should pick a car and do the season with it. As you know what happens...big v8's for fast tracks, Alfas for twisties . I would make whoever takes a Stang for somewhere like Snett, also has to use it somewhere tight and narrow Or maybe make it be used for 2 or 3 rounds consecutively before another car change? It would have the advantage of narrowing down the performance window whilst also helping drivers become more familiarised/handy with that particular car. Would be right with the spirit of a P&G touring car season just my two cents...ignore as usual
