I've just run a couple of laps in all four.  Was looking at 2:04 for the M3, 2:05 for the Seat, 2:10 for the Viper and about 2:09 for the Porker (I still don't get on well with it.)

I think the M3 is the weapon of choice at this track, really well balanced, and you can brake soooo much later than in the Viper.

It should be noted these were all run on the default settings (and yes the Viper's gear ratios cannot be changed), but I think the Viper is outclassed, and the Porker is going to be a handfull to be competitive.

I've just had a run with them all too, managed to get the Bi-T within a couple of tenths of the Seat but other than that the distance between the cars was similar for me too Smiley

Did a couple laps in all four cars. You're definitely right about Viper, it's well off the pace of the others, so I've removed it from this event. The M3 is probably the quickest, but I don't think the Seat and Bi-Turbo are miles behind. My times on medium tyres were:

M3 - 2:02.6
Seat - 2:03.0
Bi-Turbo - 2:03.5
Viper CC - 2:08.9

Getting there with the M3 now, 2:00.007 - I reckon if I string it together a low 1.59 is in the bag - that's hotlapping on softs, going to run with a race setup and see what happens.

ps.  Love the M3!!

1:59.366. But I don't like the handling of the Beamer. It's so boring and understeery Embarrassed. I lowered the rear wing to 4, and set the diff power to 10%. I also stiffened the rear ARB and softened the front ARB, but still understeery. According to the setupguide, those tweaks made should make it oversteering. Could also be that this track is utterly stupid: "Let's make a track with only 90 degree corners, that would be fun"  Huh

I don't understand why loads of sim-racers I know rave about Brno, when its a very boring track.

I love it. It's brilliant for racing against other people. The nice width and loads of different overtaking places, not just one. It's great for battles. I've had more good races with people at Brno than anywhere else.  Tongue

I used to dislike Brno but that was more because of the physics of GTR1, much more fun in GTR2 imo. Grin

I can't agree with the lack of oversteer with the beamer, I can get it sideways no trouble if I feel like it.  Try moving the brake bias back and using a vent of 1 on them.  Alot depends on if you trailbrake or not.  If you do, brake bias will alter the turn-in under/oversteer more than the a-r bar, etc.  I'd also experiment with a very stiffly locked power diff and see if that gives you oversteer, from what I remember if you want out-of-corner oversteer you want a stiffer power diff, not a softer one Huh

I like Brno. Not the most interesting track to hotlap, but it tends to produce good racing. It's fairly easy to lap consistantly around there, so you often get packs of cars running at a similar pace. There are some decent overtaking opportunities as well.

I must admit I'm not that keen on Brno; very stop-start with no real flow.

Seeing as I've never driven the track before, I find it quite enjoyable, but then most of you have driven it in GTR so you may well hate it by now!
I do feel for the people who post TT on the GTR 2 site in say a GT car then see Zacari's time in a G2 Beemer cane it  Grin, oh the sorrow!

I'm with Shark on this one, i really enjoy racing at Brno. I've always had great battles here every time. Its got a lot of right handers (not just the other drivers Wink ) but its also very undulating and makes for great racing with the different brake zones and lines through the turns.

I envy you guys with loads of spare time to try all these car/track combos  :'(

I'm taking the M3 for this one I think. I have only driven this track with the 550 and the Saleen. Hope the M3 feels ok here for me.

I'm thinking M3 at the moment. Just had a quick practice and I think it's probably the best choice. Seat is OK imho, but I prefer the M3. The Porsche just feels weird.
