game shows 26/28 can not get on it. .gerald It only updates the number every so often so 2 people probably joined between it last updating and you actually hitting the tick in the password box. Speaking of the password box why is it so hard to code it so that the entry box is pre-selected?! It seems to pick up the end of my mouse click on the Join button and the actual text entry area is never focussed. Allowing Return as well as the ticky clicky would be nice too - I do wonder if any of the game's authors every actually play it online!

The GTR1 lobby bug where the server focus can change so you don't connect to the server you selected still exists too

I would also remind people (especially the guy in 14th on the grid ) that you're supposed to let off the limiter just after the guy ahead does, not wait until the s/f line! You allowed a gap of about 3 seconds to the guy in 13th by doing that, wd to greg for resisting the urge to blast past him!

Replay available. Results will be along shortly Thanks (though it wasn't at Monza - I think the replay is of last night's race - the exports are right but the replay isn't). I can't import the results until I know "Nikonian" was... I'm hoping that simply import Q2 will do the job but I suspect I'll need to make some software tweaks to allow the Q1 results to be imported too...

Had a good little race, it was a bit short but understand its just for testing game aspects out. One thing i noticed, the game wasnt recording any times i set in the 2nd qually sesh, nothing displaying on my motec anyway Had no time for any practise so was using the qually seshs for tweaking my setup, so not ideal and was okay with 9th in first sesh, dropping to 12th in 2nd qual. Enjoyed the race, got upto 6th? at one point, but two errors running a tad wide cost me lots of places from a close pursuit pack of hungry NGT's Good battle with Locotus for a fair few laps. I had the full sun effects, but they were pretty much behind me on the s/f straight, dont remember getting low sun glare anywhere else but then again i was too focused on the back of the car in front.

Do you think replays are causeing my stuttering. and what about it showing 26/28 but not being able to join.cheers gerald
It was probably just being slow at updating Gerald. There were 28 in the server so it was full. Nah, I sat looking at 26/28 for at least 10 mins in the lobby despite constant refreshes

The problem with showing open spots on the server, tho there are none, already was in GTL. It happens very regularly, in fact I think the player numbers are more often wrong than correct.
Race was nice, tho I also thought it felt a bit too much like public server sometimes. I contributed to that by rear-ending truetom, when I missed my braking point in the back light. Sorry for that, and very nice racing in these last laps.
Grats to the podium.

2) Split time was always to leader, what a halibut joke. I don't give a haddock how far behind the leader I am, I want to know how fast I am compared to my best time you pike of a game. Another multiplayer bug, I suspect taking whatever the setting is from the server instead of what I have it set to in my game!!
I've changed the settings on the server in the server's .plr file now to try and get it to show us self split times instead of splits to the leader. We'll see if it works tomorrow i guess.
