Meh, just meh. I have absolutely no pace in that, chevy has no front end and I cant get through the 1st sector at all, and the ford is too gutless to win
I'm totally confused, I tested at mosport and matched FMG / Fabri times from the race you did, but at riverside I'm 2secs off
Riverside is hugely technical in cars that aren't neutral in handling - and CanAm cars were always massively understeery in order to put their power down..
You can remove the heavy understeer but in my experience it doesn't make you any faster as you lose so much time entering the straights.
I suspect a lot of Fabri and my advantage is down to the Gpl67 race we had here recently, we must know the track much better than anyone else can reasonably hope to without a lot of practice.
I did watch onboard with you a bit before leaving last night, when I was watching you often seemed to try and carry too much speed through the fast corners - this would then throw you wide and mess your line up for the rest of the run to the first hairpin.
Even a small mistake through T2 can cost nearly a second in overall lap pace because of this.
