thank you for that Cookie. seems my shiny new machine has intermittent dvd problem. I will sort it one way or with violence, soon be on the grid, hopefully.

Im trying to install gpl from CD and im getting "Error 105: Setup is unable to find installation languages in SETUP.LID file" on a new machine with win 8.1. any one seen this before?
