Server: simracing.org.uk GT1 Password: see above (#post_event_password) Notes: (1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3349.0) - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages. (2) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above). (3) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced. Still cant figure out how to skin the z4m. I got a skin made for it but then all of the z4's look like that one instead of having different skins for each team. Anyone know how to fix this?? I was on TTs tail form the start and I managed to stay with him and keep the pressure on. After a while I was in a position to make a move but, I could not see a safe opportunity anywhere. In the end I tried a few dives down the inside knowing that TT would be fair. Eventually I made a pass stick and did my best to stay in front until the end. Good fun, see you all at the next one. I was able to get back in front once but after my tyres were off it was over. Can't set up this car, my fronts get worn twice as fast as the rears. :(

So picked the C6R as it seems pretty easy to drive but as ever hadnt quite got used to it so was locking up a bit too easily on the brakes. But then i realised i hate this track so much! the bumpy nature the braking zones into blind corners but i slowly got more and more annoyed as i dropped further back. Decided to quit as i'd lost interest.
I had only just fired up GTR2 before hand so hadn't got any prep in, at least next time i should be a bit better. These GT1s on this type of track are way too much for me and those unsighted braking points were particularly tricky. I almost flipped the vette going through that silly chicane and then had a little nudge in the final corner which put me in the gravel. No biggy, but by then I'd had enough and quit out.
