We have decided that there will be 2 servers for the F2 season.

The grids will be divided on Pro and Ams ability, so with 38 places available there should be no problem for anyone wishing to race in this series.

Please watch the forum for details of the 2nd server/passwords etc.

I know that the year is wrong (1954) but what a great picture of Oulton Park.

Hard day at work,so tired and not concentrate at all. After a swimming session in the lake and thousand of mistakes i preferred to retore than continue the agony. Any way the F2 Cars are so joyful to drive that i Will partecipate to some of the next races for sure!

okay
second race and this time donni who had already taken a lap, he left me out.
First of all, on the back straight, he did not let me pass and stayed on the race line all the time, and in the curve, he only limited himself to not braking and to get me out of the race.
What a shame donni, I thought you were cleaner, but I was wrong, I think it is time to withdraw from all ukgpl races, I expect mod 55, since in that mod, I have no enemies,
So thanks for everything to the organization and as long as 1 runner in particular continues to run and they do not improve their handling when other runners are caught, it is better that I do not get bad blood and I better stop running, they have already left me out several times , not only in this league if not in others and not even ask for excuses. So that arrogance does not go with me.
ukgpl thanks, and see you only on mod 55

I was running 9th when at 9 to go I saw that I was short on fuel. I stopped at last hairpin to reset but when I pressed the key game stopped working and went to desktop :-(
Maybe it was better I would pit for refuel. Sorry Clive if my car was stuck on track when you came.

A good result for me. I was having a great battle with Leo until he clipped the grass on the entry to Old Hall on lap 7 and he spun in front of me. Thankfully the brakes in the F2s are good and I managed to avoid contact. I watched Cookie and Ziu gradually pull away, there was nothing I could do to bridge the gap so I settled down and tried to manage the gap back to Pete and Bastian. Everything was going to plan until I did 2 x 360s at Island Bend with about 10 laps to go.  That put me under pressure and Bastian got closer and closer. Luckily the chequered flag saved me and I also managed to steal a place from Ziu on the last corner. I assume he had car trouble (actually he was low on fuel) because he slowed a lot on the last couple of corners.

No problem Fulvio, I saw you move off the racing line at Lodge and guessed that you were maybe out of fuel.

So sorry that you feel that way, Ricky.  Please reconsider leaving the series.  Poo happens and...  It takes two to tango.

I was having a good race til my collision with Ricky on Lap22.  Up til then, things were going very well but I must say that the opening lap was a bit disconcerting as I came across Andreas' Lola that was winking in and out of view.  Yikes!  The server replay confirms my view.  I think that Andreas knew something wasn't quite right as he let me pass easily and fell into a position off my tail without making an effort to challenge.  This is most unusual as his connection is typically rock-solid with he and I having great battles in the past years.  Hope you can get that fixed, AG.

In the end, with assorted retirements, a lucky P9 finish.  :)

Edit: Please rectify the championship table standings.  I'm running in the Pro Division.

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed this race. The first 6 laps were a fantastic battle with Evil and the remainders were with Bastian. The standard of driving was superb. At no point did I feel in danger. I was able to keep to the racing line even when you were both quicker than me in the the right-hander at the end of the long straight (Knickerbrook?). You knew just to hold back and wait for another lap before trying. Clive, such a shame that you fell off the track on T1 a bit later. Prior to that, when you did pass me on "Hilltop" straight, I can only say a big thank you to the people who put the brakes on my Lotus as I was SOOOOOO close to ourbraking myself and hitting you from behind. I need to look at the replay to see just how close I was. Sorry if that scared you.

Bastian - the battle for the rest of the race was fantastic. You were great company on the track and I learnt a lot. The F2 cars are just fantastic online. These Tuesday evenings are a real highlight.

I watched server replay to see waht happened to my car when I went to desktop trying to reset for fuel and luckily I was out of racing line. Then I watched for curiosity what happened between Rick and Doni. I ask Rick to watch the replay and rewrite what he has wrote about Doni that didn't anything wrong. Doni had a very slow car on the straight and Rick passed him well before the left bend, but he got the turn wrong and had a slow down in the middle of the turn so that Doni couldn't  avoid him.
Please Rick, you have hot blood like us Mediterraneans, but stop to complain and go on racing with us, shit happens.  ;)

...

Yeah, I have some problems with my ISP. Was like this about in June/July but then it was getting better. Now a technique/Serviceman will look into it in this week(I hope).
When they cannot fix it I have to watch out for a new ISP.

but he have one lap left just need to go slowly in the right side and give me the overtake, easy, but he never do that, in the moment than I overtake him for the wrong side, I forced, to brake hard for in into the turn.
if he fight for a position ok I'm not explose, but he have one lap less, just give the overtake easy nothing more....
