Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: Doni Yourth on June 17, 2020, 10:43:36 PM +0100 Yes sir! I'm on for this Phil! Full time entry, pls.
Edit: The next day... OUCH! I've just realized that these events are of an extended race length the likes of which would be, for me, a challenge over and above what I might reasonably be expected to meet. I'm having to withdraw as a consequence. I'll nominate a entry in the Sprint Series instead. Sorry. Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: Rainier on June 19, 2020, 04:49:01 PM +0100 I registered for this serie.
I am slow but patient so it could be good for me. On the 67F1 Grand Prix pages, it is indicated "Drivers will be allocated a chassis by the moderator at the start of the season. The faster drivers will be allocated the slower chassis," but please, even if I am slow, I don't want to drive Lotus or Eagle with their fragile engines. Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: JonnyO on June 19, 2020, 09:07:04 PM +0100 AHAHAHAHA

Might drop from the Sprint Series and re-sign here. Decisions, decisions...

After 5 races we will have the chance to adjust the cars if the results show that the balance is wrong. Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: Iestyn Davies on August 08, 2020, 07:44:31 PM +0100 I've put in for <75% on both series, so might turn up for a race at some point depending on distance/track. I'll assume I am getting a BRM for this series
Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: Phil Thornton on August 08, 2020, 07:57:58 PM +0100 You're in Iestyn. Clive will decide which car you should drive in the GP race but I suspect you are not too far off the mark. You are obviously Works standard whenever you take part in a Sprint race ;D
Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: EvilClive on August 10, 2020, 04:09:08 PM +0100 I have seen Iestyn in a BRM, although only briefly as he vanished over the horizon!!!
So, I think a Cooper might be a better fit? As always things will be reviewed after 5 races and some drivers may have their cars changed. ;) Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: nono on August 11, 2020, 04:21:09 PM +0100 hello everyone i m french i would like to join you to have a good time if there are any seats available have a good day

I can set mine up. What mod and track do you want? Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: dave curtis on August 20, 2020, 09:23:39 PM +0100 hello everyone do you have a training server on igor ? Mosport & Monza67 running now, so you can test connectivity to something :) note: Mosport GP race / Monza67 will be other UKGPL servers (as per event details). Cheers, Dave. Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: Phil Thornton on August 20, 2020, 09:56:59 PM +0100 Looks like Dave has beaten me to it. Mosport with 67s is a good choice. Hopefully a few of our regular drivers will join and give you some practice against real drivers.

Possibilité de refaire le plein d'essence si tu as le patch correspondant. Tu devras faire tous les GP de cette série avec la même F1 ! Clive will decide which car you should drive in the GP race (...I hope he will give you BRM or Honda ;D ) Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: Markus Friedrich on September 15, 2020, 09:34:02 AM +0100 Hi to all,
I was driving in the sprint series and found out my pace seems to be better suited for the long distance races. So I am thinking about giving it a try at one of the next events. I still think 1.5h sounds like torture and I am wondering how I can avoid dying of thirst during the race but I am also curious if I can survive ;) I just submitted an entry in the poll and I'm looking forward to which car I will be assigned to. Title: Re: Season 37 1967 F1 Grand Prix - Registration Post by: dave curtis on October 06, 2020, 12:08:13 AM +0100 I hope none of you GP-masters are are using Fanatec clubsport wheelbases :) Was idly looking at some related info earlier & spotted the following attention points... • The recommended operation time of the wheel with continuous force feedback activity is 1 hour. Let the wheel cool down for a few minutes before you continue. • Long playing may cause health risks. Take a break of 5 minutes every 20 minutes, and do not play for more than 2 hours per day. • Utilization of the vibration and Force Feedback function may cause damage to your health Be careful out there!
