AAARGH!!!! I don't believe it Knocked 0.3 off my PB to qualify an awesome new best of 5th then when the session changed to 'warmup' I got 'connection lost' and of course I couldn't then get back in. That's never happened to me before :'( Nuts.

Bad luck Pops, saw you had gone Night of disaster here too, spent 20 mins trying to sort out the PC's display. Was like a mosaic with 4 large chunks, 2 of which where parallelograms After finally connecting I did a few laps and suddenly the brake pedal lost calibration and the brakes locked on. After a trip to control panel that was sorted only to be confronted with 7 fps on the start of the race. Battled with the frame rates but after the second spin gave up in discust Needed a Jonathan Ross anyway (pee for those that missed his show last week)

Totally gutted to see you drop out Pops- that was a heck of a qually lap there. Doubly impressive since you've been away. Worse luck than the liver that thought it had a reprieve only to find it had be put into... nah... I don't think I can do that joke here Haven't been able to practice at all for the last couple of weeks and boy did it show. I attempted to figure out manual clutching in GTR tonight and had a terrible qually session with regular spins whilst downshifting and getting the revs wrong- GTR seems much more exacting that GTL when it comes to disabling autoclutch. Ended up turning autoclutch back on for the race, just so I could get a clean lap in! Qualifying lower down doesn't really bother me, if I can't put as much practice in as i used to then so be it and the racing is still nice and competitive right through the pack. Hada pretty solid run, picking up a place here and there and loosing the odd one too. Finished 8th and pretty happy. Congrats to Truetom for your first win! I bet I woke you and Leuven up when my DFP double downshifted in th final corner and I span right in front of you both

Grats to Tom for the win and great quali time Leuven, good job again.
Got shunted off in that downhill section on first lap, maybe I was going a little slow. Crawled back up to fourth from last.. though I was surprised to see Mo making alot of mistakes and giving me the position.

Good race (no incident reports) for me My 1st in Vertigo. Good car. Had troubles with overtaking cos lack of power but tyres coud do another 40 (soft) and car is fast in turns. 1 spin and on last turn (was waching Mo in the mirror ehe). Had company almost to the finnish. Good. And solid team result.

Cheers, I was dissapointed because I was about half a second up on my best time at sector 1 but couldnt complete the lap. As I was confused how I managed to go faster the previous laps I should have won, but i stupidly decided to start "hotlapping". as if pulling away from second place wasn't enough. Anywhoo, congrats to the winner.

A mixed race for me tonight, got a PB in qualy and grabbed 7th, jumping two places on the very last flying lap (the counter usually runs out for me when i try that !) Got upto 3rd after first few laps and stayed there for about 20 minutes with Greg always just behind me..very pressurising! In the end that horrible turn 1 caught me out and i had a half spin dropping me to 5th where i stayed for a fair few laps. Then suffered another half spin on that tricky downhill 1st gear right hairpin turn, got hot and agitated and tyres were too hot so had a torrid couple of laps leaving me in 7th place and with totally shagged tyres. The last 10 minutes were pure torture as i just fought to keep it on the black stuff. A solid 7th place in the end but was slightly disapointed as without the annoying couple of spins could probably have managed maybe a top 5 (edit) ah it was 'Greg' not Rich_A...i dont know what happened to your car on the formation lap, i saw your car suddenly kick up tyre smoke and turn in and there was a sound of a car hitting you, but it wasnt mine, i was still moving slowly through the chicane when your car started losing it...wierd. Unless it was a warp thing but i swear i didnt make contact, i had no contact noise on my own car. Blaz, that bloody vertigo makes a hell of a racket , i couldnt hear my own tyres or engine when you were near me, i knew i'd go off sooner or later...and i did!

Dont know what happened on the formation lap, going thro the chicane the car just spun, no idea why, very odd.
Qualed in 6th and started in 5th after Pops disco, bad luck fella, very frustrating. Had a great battle with Mark for several laps until he spun, then Mo decided to donate 3rd to me by taking a few detors to the gravel. Finished in 3rd, well chuffed.

Thanks guys! I feel good about the win, though Leuven was so much faster than me... He would have won if I hadn't been so pushy and he was driving very gentlemanly. Thanks Leuven, I wouldn't be as patient. I was watching a replay later (had to have a Heineken) and I saw how you had to battle with your car as I was so slow in front. Great control and I was lucky there wasn't enough straight to pass here, so I could block it - most of the time at least. PaulW: damn, that was scary! There were other scenes like this one and I must thank to all guys who rather chose to spin their cars than to interfere with the battle for 1st place. Good job! I slepa koka zrno nađe.
