On 50 mins fuel and presumably hard tyres, that's really not a bad start MJ. It took me a while to get used to the speed, but the key was to be as smooth as possible and resist the temptation to brake late especially into sweeping corners as it kills the balance. Getting the ride height sorted and using slightly more front wing than rear helps.
You'll reach the point where everything becomes like slow motion and that's when the big chunks of time will start falling off.

Hmm, seems like I'm not there yet. These cars can be weird to get up to speed at a given track.. I had the hardest time breaking through a certain time barrier at Mexico(so did others as it seemed) but then after 3 sessions and maybe 40+ laps the time came down by about 3-4 seconds..

Just finished some training laps in practice 1 session, and my best was a 1.24.3 with race fuel... but I could do something better I guess. Lele was on a low 1.23 in his best lap, and I guess he would like to join this race if it's ok. I hope to be able to join the race too! Cu soon

1:29 for me with 40mins fuel onboard. Not done any qually runs yet wth lightfuel but looks i will be a few secs off some peoples pace! What sort of wing settings should you use here? Ive tried some small tweaks but they seem to make the car worse.

Hmmm, late1:27's is the best I can manage consistently in the Fezza here, and it's eating my tyres doing that. watched Son do an effortless 1:21 on the server tonight, absolutely blinding to watch. Feelings of inadequacy creeping in lol

There will be a huge variation in pace tonight, which is just what I expected. However this race and next week's at Interlagos will give valuable data for the rest of the championship. Don't forget that both these spec races count towards the championship, but that your worst 2 results will be dropped. 1:29 for me with 40mins fuel onboard. Not done any qually runs yet wth lightfuel but looks i will be a few secs off some peoples pace! What sort of wing settings should you use here? Ive tried some small tweaks but they seem to make the car worse. You won't need 40 minutes fuel.....check your xd as the in game fuel readings can be way off in these cars. Try keeping the front wing slightly higher than rear. 18/15 seems about right for me but I suspect fast guys will be much lower. I hope to be lapping around mid 25s. NoteI might not be around to restart the server, so please can someone step in if there's no sign of me by 19:40.
