Was driving a Seat, I really like this car, has a nice balance to it - if setup right. Was trying to keep up with the GTs. They only lapped me once, lol! P.S. Just lapping Shark and Jon was worth being there. LOL. Nice one TT. Was scarey the 2 times you lapped me you just caught me up the hill after the old hairpin / craner curves and I decided to give you room to take me up the hill but the second time was real close, precision driving. Early part of the race for me was the main excitement as I had to avoiding spinning cars left right and centre. Couple of times failing to stop in time with car or getting hit from someone else also failing to stop. Just racing.

sorry to dave gymer for hitting you at the esses was not even try to pass brake problems will accept what ever punishment given
Figured you just missed your braking point - wasn't best pleased but seeing Zip-Tyf's pace at the end I don't think I could've mounted a challenge, even with a fully healthy car. Once again I put far too much fuel in - I really should know by now how frugal the Vertislow is. In some respects very pleased with my performance tonight - didn't make a single self-induced mistake; gave Maverick a love tap whilst trying to lap him, very very hard work in the Vertigo against a faster Porsche, luckily neither of us went off. Got rear ended by rufbtr in the Elise too - I had to brake early after lapping hi 'cause I was off line, but following him on a later lap at the same place I realised just how late that Elise brakes there. We did have a debate about whether we should allow the Elise at all because of the huge difference in speed, unfortunate that somebody should choose to take it at the track where it's probably hardest to safely lap people.

Well I'm waiting for confirmation of my finish position, but I've gotta say I REALLY enjoyed that tonight. Qual 10th o/a 2nd in class I think. had a fairly steady race til just after mid way when I found the rears had bit the dust so had to pit for an unscheduled tyre change having put in more than enough fuel to do a non-stopper :'(
Got back on the track to find I'd dropped from 7th to 10th behind Dave, what a bugger he is to get past, finally got the jump on him after we'd been lapped on the start finish straight. Thought "sweet, sit here now til the finish" so for a few laps dave follwed me round and round gaining time, losing time til I took TOO much kerb and went off. I then spent several laps trying to catch him again and off we went again, finaly taking him on the long straight before the chicane (hope I didn't force you wide there dave) then found that for the rest of the race I had brake fade, which made things a little dicey. Dave then took advantage of this and passed me after I'd span. Anyways a good race for me, far more consistant than I have been this season and hopefully some good "team" points too.

That was really tricky. High number of G3's, and an elise , made for lots of lapping on a track where its so hard to do so. As always, everyone was trying to do the right things but there seemed few safe places to pass and things were really hairy at times. No excuse for my stinker of a race though. One stupid spin probably cost me a place but I was never really up to speed. Congrats to Greg, I can see you, Zac and myself battling all the way to Monza. Nice to see the team have another good night.

Well pleased with qualifying, a pole which was a real shock, didnt expect that.
Decided to be extra cautious throughout the race, especially when lapping the slower cars. Donington is not one of my best tracks, I seem to have developed the knack of falling off here, normaly manage it at least twice in any race. Had a good start to the race but just couldnt shake off SBG, the gap kept going up and down with the backmarkers. I would pull out a slight lead then SBG would reel me back in again, great fun. Unfortunatly SBG had a spin which enabled me to get the gap I needed to relax a little. Went for a 1 stopper and rejoined after the pit with Blaz about 4 seconds behind me, christ where did he come from. We had a good battle for a couple of laps but he had a spin which left me with a 10 sec gap and only 3 laps to go. After that it was a case of bringing it home for my first endurance win of the season.
Well pleased with tonights work, didnt hit any backmarkers, didnt spin off(a rairity) and managed my first win in div 2. Looking forward to Spa where the 3 way battle for the top spot in div 2 continues, this deffinatly looks like it will go to the wire at monza, great stuff.

Classic racing move - I gave you just enough room to come through, hoping I could pressure you into a spin on the exit of the Esses and retake the place but instead had to watch you just power away down to the Melbourne loop. I thought it was tyres you were struggling with - didn't realise it was actually the brakes.

Had some fun in the elise, it was the slowest car on the track, but hell this car can brake so hard, that a lot of you probably where surpised when passing me before a curve, i was next to them in the curve. I tried to make room for everybody who was faster (wasn't everybody faster ), fortunately i hit that vertigo, because he was braking very early, compared to the elises braking points. sorry for that. after 30 mins, pc locked up, so i was outta you ways, and you could race without that moving roadblock on the track. next time i will take a faster G3 car.

Did my first Endurance race and made the mistake of using a car Ive never raced before Started off OK, left Shark behind and sat on Jam for a few laps then had the first of my many brain fade moments and spun off. I think I must have left the track at least 6 times, nearly took Shark out at the chicane on Melbourne, started to brake (not intending to pass) and the car just lurched left onto the grass, came hurtling across the chicane just in front of Shark, but not collecting him. Also had a dodgy moment when being lapped by teamie SBG, cought the kerb and clipped the side of him as he went past I really need to concentrate on staying on the circuit but Im looking forward to the next one.

LOL. I did close my eyes then cause I didn't know whether to speed up, slow down or just go normal as I saw you dissapear from mirror. Slowed down a little and sort of waited for your car to either hit me or come past at a funny angle in front of me. Couldn't see you with left view but knew you had lost control and was very thankful when you came seering past my nose backwards missing me completely.

It was certainly an eventful race! Only managed to get a handful of laps in before the race with my new DFP (which is nice, but badly needs setting up properly), so I decided to qualify on race setup and get used to the car. Started ok, but had a problem with the wheel and/or pedals whereby the car would either brake or just go idle at random, most noticable down the back straight and very annoying, (and a real problem when it happened in the hairpin!). Spun 2 or 3 times because of that, and a couple of offs due to backmarkers. Sorry, but the elise has no place in Enduro for me. Trying to pass in the Craner Curves is not really possible and you lose so much time following through there it's just not funny! I still think it'd be more sensible to have endurance GT and NGT, and sprints mixed, but there ya go. If someone with a DFP could cut and paste the controller section of their .plr file that'd be greatly appreciated, as I know I changed mine lots for my old wheel. (I'll start a new thread elsewhere for it so we don't get off-topic ) Grats to Greg for a good win, and SBG for (another!) good podium finish. Gonna have to get some practice in if I'm gonna close that gap!

BTW if anyone wants to see a textbook pass, look at 3000 second into the server replay - Jamera starts the move with a good exit from Coppice, gets firmly ahead into the Esses, and gives me no opportunity to come back at him on the exit.

Good race for me finish 5th. I would like to say that it was down to skill and a brilliant strategy; but then I would be lying. I tend to pick up positions due to other's misfortunes. Until Zacari's pit stop 6th was looking best for me over 1m up on 7th and some 30s behind Zacari. What happened in your pitstop mate? I ended up passing you twice before you came out of the pits.
My championship postion is all due to the good finish I had in the wet weather at Barcelona, as I seem to be about 2s a lap off the rest of the GT field and don't seem to get any faster. I practiced all fortnight at Doni, trying various set-ups and couldn't go any faster than around 1m 31 with any of them, this seems to be the case on all the circuits. My best time in qually was set in the closing minutes when I was running my race set up!
