For the second week in a row I have been unable to join the racing. The problem seems to be when the drivers are loading. Suddenly I crash back to desktop and Microsoft wants me to send a message as I have encountered an error.
I've rebooted my computer. No good I have gone on to a public server and encountered no problems. I have the correct cars installed.
Early on in tonight's session I was able to join and do 3 or 4 laps . It was as other drivers loaded that I was booted. Every subsequent time I am booted as the game loads the drivers.
Anyone else have a similar problem? Can anyone suggest a solution?
For my own part I suspect I encounter this problem when a specific driver loads up.
But what do I know

I have this problem if I use a very high resolution with my Triple Head 2 Go, one of the 28CD cars in particular causes grief. Sometimes I have to drop the res all the way back to 1280x1024 for it to be stable. Everything is so much more involving at 3840x1024

I usually dont leave server untill race ends. But today i quit because when i was following Tom´s car, Stu spun in front of us, Tom went left, me right, but i went to wide and there i was, on the grass, not the best surface to brake, as i was reaching last corners before last chicane, with Tom and Stu there and me aiming their cars, so i hit ESC, i hope i did it in time, before hit you. (ofcourse this moment was only and all my fault) Anyway, i think i problably had some warp issues again :'( Can someone tell me if i warped more or less than last race, please? See you later, sorry for my lag problems

See you later, sorry for my lag problems Pribeiro, when you were in front of me you were warping at the 2nd corner, but nowhere near as bad as the previous weeks. It wasn't too much of a problem for me - then I saw you pull off. Went very well after that - a bit of a dice with Jonzo. Then Toppman spun in front of me and that was pretty much that. Guess there won't be too many finishers. Escorts - who'd have 'em (not me) TC

Rats , pb in quali for me and then car snaps going into chicane after hairpin and nerfs my suspension, car is understeering everywhere and rear is really loose under braking, tried to carry on for a while but a couple more offs whilst trying to push damaged me further, so had no option to pit and retire. A shame as i do like the car and could have had a reasonable race. Also the finishing time would have been to late for me, its racing when I'm on morinings only from now on unfortunately. :'(

Bugger, stupud game DQ'd me for apparently ignoring a stop and go despite the fact i had just made two pitstops in a row to do just that ! (am i doing something wrong? am i supposed to wait for a set lap to do my stop and go?). Was running 6th with about 10 laps to go so disapointed, especially as anyone up front could have had an off or a stop and go for the draconian corner cutting warnings Qually was great fun, nice and tight and everyone pushing each other forward in lap times. Race was great too with some good little battles with a couple of other escort drivers. Pribeiro, sorry mate, your car was warping again, though nothing like it was last week :'(...are you wireless? could be the problem The escort can be a pain in the arse but it feels great to dice with and throw through the faster corners. Shame the turn out was low again..where have you all gone again ? :'( Great pace up front from Pero and Baracus.

Sorry about that Tom, I was trying to move out of your way on the straight, but for whatever reason my Porsche decided to fish tail while going straight. Totally didn't mean to ruin your race.

As usual I was much better in race than qually. I do tend to spend the entire praccy/qual bit getting any kind of reasonable setup and then in the race I stop pushing so hard and it just flows. Well done to top 3, shame on the low turn out and low number of finishers. Anyway, i think i problably had some warp issues again :'( Can someone tell me if i warped more or less than last race, please? Yeah, you were warping scarily again for me. Your ping this time was high too, up to 300ms, jittering and lagging. I flashed my lights at you to give you some idea as I couldn't type, but probably just confused you with it. P.S. Please no chat during qualifying or the race. This is one of our longest standing rules and important to follow as chat can be off-putting. Thanks.

Pribeiro, sorry mate, your car was warping again, though nothing like it was last week :'(...are you wireless? could be the problem I do use a wireless router, but when i am racing i link a net cable to have more stability. . I flashed my lights at you to give you some idea as I couldn't type, but probably just confused you with it. Thats what i tought (lag again) when you flashed your lights, thanks Simon.

Great race - good fun batteling almost the entire race. Didnt have luck in qually - had about 0,5 in the second and third split, but I wasnt able to put together a great lap so I started third. After a few laps I was able to pass both Stu and Baracus (almost in the same corner). Than I got infront and Stu passed Baracus as well and was following me - only to have a spin on top of the "jump". After that Baracus started closing in on me and after some laps almost got trough - but I was able to keep infront. He was loosing and gaining space on me - most times he was loosing when we came accross backmarkers. Anyhow - we were very much close together and in the last third of the race I guess he decided to go for it, but he went wide on the first righthander. After that I was alone and was basicly just lapping till the finnish. But in those laps I got my best lap on the last lap of the race. I was keeping it preety much steady trough the race as the Escort is so fragile with the Engine and in doing that I guess I wasnt as agressive as usuall as my tires were still good at the end of the race. Knowing that it wont brake on the last lap I went for it. Bit of a shame that more people didnt attend - perhaps the car selection should change week in, week out.

BTW, im not having this lag issues when i am in GTR2 and RACE. At least nobody had complains untill now. Isnt it odd? And i choose ISDN connection also, i think its better. Maybe somebody, have an idea of what is going wrong!? Or i might have no conditions for racing GTL again online? :'(
Cheers
