Practice: 19:45 BST (30 mins) Qual 2: 20:15 (15 mins) Race: 20:30 ~ 30 Mins Cars allowed: DTM92 Track: Bathurst Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: DryStart: Standing Tyre wear: NormalFuel consumption: NormalPit-stops: None requiredServer: Simracing.org.uk E3H Password: see aboveChampionship StandingsNotes:(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally) (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Server update done. Game has an update as well, doesn't seem a big one, but please allow time for it.

That was fun but had insufficient fuel to complete race, went into pits a la GTL but couldn't put any fuel in. Appears that pit stops have to be scheduled.
Three questions:-
How do I top up fuel so I have sufficient for the race distance?
How do I chat?
Any other things I should know for next race?
Thanks Matt for organising race.

Great racing I managed to get in Dieter's way for most of the race. I bent the car late on, and he nipped through to get the place he deserved. Welcome to Marc Beckhaus I have had to enter you in the results as a guest, because I couldn't find your name (or the sideways one) in our list. If you can tell me what name you registered with this forum as I will edit the results.

Pitstops are preset as you say, it's part of the setup screen. You can set "safe" for fuel, and if you do go in the pits it will put plenty in. Chat is currently only when you are on track, and the default key is "T" to talk. Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Any other things I should know for next race? I'll answer the easiest one, you can only chat (and only see chat) while in car. Type "C" (Now, I may have changed this myself) while in car, then your message. I'm sure the other two, are just as easy but my addled mind isn't cooperating any farther... Evidentally too addled, to get in quick enough.

That was great fun a heart pounding Race. I grabbed to much curb on turn 1 at the start and oversteered letting several through but would have lost positions down the straight regardless. I hoped this daunting track would create more mistakes up front to bring the gap down, but Eck you kept it fast and consistent from what I could see in the rears. Well done mate! Unlucky for Marc and his off, seemed he and I would have been dueling it out the whole race. On to the next one gents.

And the next one is...... Cars we have not run for a while, I personally love these GTO cars, though they can be quite challenging. They seem to run well at Mid Ohio, I have to pick the tracks for this series very carefully as they are just not fun at tight slow tracks. I suspect the cars may have been altered since we last ran them as the Silvia is now a pussycat, and even I can drive it. They still have too much power for the chassis though so a gentle right foot will reap rewards

Um, what happened at the first corner..? (goes and checks replay).. Oh, that was nothing - no incident as far as I'm concerned! I got boxed in by you and Carl on the straight, but again, that's just racing..! I seem to have forgotten how to do starts though, even worse one than last week.. And then another race spent staring at Matt's rear.. Great fun! Congrats podium.

That's OK, it was only qualifying and I race for the fun. I've accepted that, that at my age I can't be competitive and will be at the back of the grid.
