I will have to escape as soon as my race is finished tonight.
I'm nightshift and will already be slightly late getting to work.
So it's nothing rude. Best of luck everyone

totally gutted, was really up for this race but my bloody annoying FPS problem has returned all was fine until qually then it just dropped to 18fps I am at a complete loss as to why this is happening. Its been fine for 2 weeks and running really well. I tried it offline after as well and the same poor fps. :'(

Sorry for spinning you around MJ, you seemed to be just slow around that bend and I tried too hard.
Sorry to API for bloody hitting him straight on after the chicane after you must have got spun around by somebody else? I was driving a bit on autopilot as i was looking at the hud and just wasnt expecting a car there! Then you just didnt seem to want to move which threw me.
What happened Dave, were you bored? TBH you were un-nerving me a bit at first.

Pretty dull race after the first lap or two. Got a completely undeserved 5th (and probably retained 3rd place in the championship, also undeservedly) after lots of discos, quits, spins etc from other people. I just drove slowly in no mans land so i don't see how that warrants a 5th as I was 2 seconds off the pace in the race and 3 or more in qually. totally gutted, was really up for this race but my bloody annoying FPS problem has returned all was fine until qually then it just dropped to 18fps I am at a complete loss as to why this is happening. Its been fine for 2 weeks and running really well. I tried it offline after as well and the same poor fps. :'( Don't forget that Nurburgring is the worst track ever in any ISI game for FPS, so you may have to turn down stuff even on high end systems because the textures are extremely poorly optimized. One of the reasons that BMW Challenge game was so slow was that it was at Nurburgring. Have you got trackside characters off and log motec data off and simply debris collision on?

Sorry Spanner, that happened right in front of me and I tried to duck by on the left but it all happened a bit too quick and I ended up running into the back of you. :'( What happened Dave, were you bored? TBH you were un-nerving me a bit at first.
Basically, yeah; I couldn't make any impression on my team mates ahead even when they were squabbling, plus my rears were starting to overheat, so I dropped back to cool them down and give you some company (and practice not racing your mirrors! ). After you quit I found a little pace on worn tyres and low fuel and managed to prevent Shark from getting close enough lap me. I'm clearly going to have to do some practice for Sunday's race as the 360 is very similar to the Lambo in terms of tyre use and I don't really want to have to run on hards!

Lovely race! And there's my first title here Qualified 2nd because I couldn't manage the 1:46.0 I'd done earlier on practicing. But my race pace was good and Brian could never get away. I had several attempts to pass until I did. Next lap he lost it in the Schumacher S and lost places, that was the key in the championship cause 2nd place would've been enough for him The battle was great but I killed my tyres in that specially the rears, and my car with high rear tyre wear is a real danger! Had 3 awful final laps lol luckily Zak was far behind and I could still win! Well done Brian, I know that 575 was hard to drive during the championship and bad luck in this last race loved the fights, cheers all

Well angry with myself. Delighted with pole obviously and was confident about the race. I'd driven loads of laps and barely made a mistake on this track. Busi was never far behind and was putting me under pressure. I knew finishing behind him would be enough. Instead of allowing him to pass we ended up swapping positions a couple of times before Busi got his car ahead. i was following to close be misjudged the fast chicane, put front wheel on the grass and had a big spin. Lost numerous positions. It was stupid as we already had a gap and I was secure in 2nd. First cars I caught were TT and Gazza. They tripped over each other at last chicane and I tried to pass. I had to back out when TT also tried a move on gazza and I was forced to into pit lane. I followed TT past Gazza who closed the door on me. Chased TT and need to now apologise. I gave him the smallest of taps going into the 3rd bend. I was following close and entered the corner with more speed. I was waiting and waiting for TT to power out the bend, but it never seemed to happen. The slightest of toughes and TT was spinning. A big sorry mate. I waited for TT to recover and lost more positions and that was any chance I had gone. Pulled back a few more positions. Had a little more contact with Steve Homes in turn 1. Out dragged him down the straight. Out braked him and stayed very tight to corner. Not sure if he did not see me but there was a little contact but no harm. Had one more spin at that fast chicane just to make things worse. A truely awful race for me. Again sorry to TT and grats to Busi on championship.

how very annoying. I ran disk keeper de-frag once and re-started pc. FPS leapt straight back upto 50 with v-snyc on and a full grid of 30 cars. The only thing i had done different to my pc in two weeks was install the latest TrackIR update last night and yet that was obviously enough to completely throw out my fps/gfx drivers I didnt even have trackIR running. Another race ruined for me. Killed my eyes just trying to race through it, 18fps is not good for the brain.

Not a good race for me even though i got a totally undeserved 3rd. Was way off the pace, was doing laps 1 second slower than i was doing in practice just b4 the race, car felt horrible, brakes didnt feel right and i couldnt turn in too well. TT and Steve were putting me under pressure early on, TT was quicker but managed to hold on for a while till i made a mistake at chicane and he got down inside. I gave him room but as i slotted in behind him i got a whack from Brian who tried to follow him throuh...(Sorry brian i totally did not see you at all) scared the crap out of me coz i really didnt see you there at all. Was glad it didnt hamper you to much though as you got by. Tyres were pretty shot by then so just tried to get it to the finnish but others mistakes and problems handed me a 3rd. I was doin pretty much the same lap times all race which is a bit weird and was actually better on the worn rubber Grats Busi for win and championship Thanks to everyone for a good season.

Well done to Busi and Kerr on the top 2 and Team Pink and R24-7 for the "minor" team positions . I dunno how much longer I'll do GTR2 personally. Possibly I'll drop down to just one series for next season as I do more iRacing, but we'll see, I always miss the racing in UKGTR, but I'm finding it quite hard to swap games and be happy with my driving in GTR2 nowadays. how very annoying. I ran disk keeper de-frag once and re-started pc. FPS leapt straight back upto 50 with v-snyc on and a full grid of 30 cars. Does your monitor run at 50Hz then? Very unusual, most LCDs run at 60Hz. I simply can't believe defragging can affect FPS, unless you are low on memory. Once all the tracks and cars textures are loaded there would no need to access the hard disk again unless you are saving replays? Might be worth setting your swap file to zero and rebooting then setting it again for 1.5x your RAM (and make it same min and max and don't let Windows manage the size). You have 2Gb RAM?

Np Brian, as I said in pm I really struggled through there. I tried different settings but then the rear flied around. Good race with Gazza and Brian, was scarry three abreast before that last corner. Good pace for Steve in the Lister - that car suits you. MJ, don't you know how to do "Format C:"? I had a phone call during the race and had to go back to work, so I had to quit the race about 10 minutes to go. Was looking at 5th place then - not a pleasant way to finish the season. Grats to the top drivers and good fun with all who participated. Thanks to organizers and moderators, good stuff. TT

was good fun. - A bit of a suprise result for me on a track I didn't know. - but was great fun battling with the MC12's! unfortunately at the start we didn't have the pace of the lambo's so they just went off into the distance. - I managed to keep true and straight and took 2nd position to the line!.
Good pace busi. and gratz on the win * champ!
I have only been here a few times. - and have enjoyed every race so far. - I hope there will be a new one starting :@
