I almost quit before race, due to my 20-35 FPS But then i closed my eyes and raced untill the end Had a nice two parts of race: a first one with Truetom chasing and overtaking me after some laps of pursuit and a second one with me chasing and overtaking Truetom after some laps of pursuit was a bit intense and fun for that, thanks for the clean and fair driving TT Congrats podium ! Cheers

How quick where the Vertigos and Morgans There only was one Morgan, me! I had struggled in all practice sessions and it just seemed to come together for the race. The little Vertigo is a little cracker in the wet. Probably the fastest. Add the fact it tyre wear is very low it is a better bet than you think. It's got added torque this season too.

Strange one that. Too fast for all the cars behind and too slow to catch anyone ahead. Sort of hung on to the back of a few in the early laps and after that only saw people who had gone off.
Quite pleased with 10th given that I had done absolutely zero practice at all - just shows the power of not going off! Wets on both ends, car never felt right but was at least benignly unpleasant.

not gonna lie, a little choked I missed this one, I was running low 1:38s in offline practice, and judging by quali times that would have made a decent starting spot. I love Interlagos and always do well on it Hopfully I can match pace next race

Very tough race that one! Qulifying was very close, after Brian in pole I think the next 5 or 6 of us were all within a tenth or so. Started 6th and gain a spot early on when Dan went wide and was then being chased by RR. His Vertigo was so much better in the in field section and eventually I got a bit sideways into 4 and he was able to pass and pull out enough of a gap before the final up hill section so I couldn't go straight back by. Backo and SBG then both had spins\slight offs so was in 4th chasing chasing RR around for the middle part of the race. With about 15 mins to go my right rear tyre started to suffer and I dropped back quite a bit from RR but was holding a steady 6 seconds to Mark behind me. The tyre got worse and worse though and I was having to tip toe into T1 and T4. A couple of times I got sideways but managed to hold it just but stupidly I didn't slow down enough and eventually I got caught out at T1 having a slow half spin and ending up facing the inside barrier. Rejoining was a nightmare. Even looking left I could only see the name tags above the barrier entering T1. I selected reverse and could see mark entering T1 so I waited. I saw him pass in my rear mirror so reversed back and selected first. I then saw Dan's tag entering T1 so I waited again. It seemed like I was waiting an age and thought he must have gone by so I rolled forward and we had a small collision. Many apologies Dan I just couldn't see you. I let Dan go and was pleased to see he didn't lose a place to Pops. That left the 3 of us together for the final stages. Again Pops Vertigo was much quicker in the twisty section and was hoping if Dan held him up a bit there I would be able to pass Pops up the hill. Pops had a few goes but Dan held him off well and then began to pull away slightly. After a few laps my tyre suddenly felt a bit better maybe due to the fuel emptying but eventually I held on close enough to Pops through the twisties and passed up the hill into T1. At the same time Dan ran wide and fell to the back of our trio. Congrats to Brian on the win and Zacari and RR for their podiums. Many thanks to RR, Mark, Pops and Dan for the racing!

Shame I was too tired to make the most of the pace I had for the first time in a UKGTR race. Could run at the same pace as Dan and Mark ahead, but an increasing frequency of errors saw me slipping backwards and I quit at 2/3 distance when I could barely make a single apex accurately, no concentration left. Congrats to Pops on a great result though. Roll on more wet races, so much fun to drive.

For anyone who didn't see it, load the replay and watch the crash I had on lap 4. That's what hapens when you drive on the grass on a wet track.

It must be really hard to drive with such a low frame rate, Tibs. I did notice that you seemed to react late and too violently to corners. driving in the rain does require the driver to be as smooth as possible.

A combination of no driver skill, low FPS and a driving style that doesn't like wet tracks. I was just braking too late. I'll have some practice before the next wet race, they're harder than I thought.

Yep, I watched the crash. You did the very same thing only a lap or two before. Same thing as above. You need to be smooth and start turning in at the correct times.

The only car I came across was Spanners and it was frozen on the track.
Looks like another success for team shark junior again!!
Arr, cr*p. Sorry. Wasnt sure when you were coming round. It froze up and wasnt sure what to do, thinking it was a network traffic glitch, but 5-10 secs later something came back but i couldnt work out what things were! for some reason i had the motec hud revs showing but had changed the hud to remove them. I take a screen shot of what i ended up with but not sure about picture hosting on web. Quickly hit Esc when i realised what happened. My normal dry FPS is around 90-100, i was getting 60's last night. After this i had had a quick play on FEAR and 10mins in it freezes and a box pops up saying windows cant talk to the nvidia driver file! I'm currently looping 3dmark 06 to see if i can break it again. I was happy with my quali time, it was just a shame i fell off on the first corner, not having run heavy before. Who was it watching quali from the stands! Coming down the first straight there was a car up on the hill to the right! Not sure the nissan is a good car to try out, I always found the brakes a bit weak and it felt heavy.
