Lol My comments are, as always Matteo, in jest I was hoping Ade might fancy a run in it, and he seems up for it, I would drive it myself but would be very slow. And, only an Italian would refuse to test a car because of it's styling

Stewards inquiry into the result with the race finishing 11 mins early & some people not having pitted yet! Mike's first challenge! p.s. In all the excitement, I forgot to mention what a cracking race it was! Well done on the balance of cars & to all that took part p.p.s. Of course it's quite possible everyone pitted, I'm just slinging mud here

I want to apologize with hotkeys, but I think that wasn't completely my fault... you were a bit lagghy since the race start, so when we arrived at the braking point after the first straight I stayed on the inside line, and I don't know if I touched you, but probably you went long and I found your car stopped orizontal to the track, so I couldn't do nothing to avoid you. I even broked my suspention cause of our crash, but the TR4 got a "special ability" and it was still drivable. I don't know if you guys changed the tyres, but watching the time I gained to you, seems that you changed it. If you didn't that's probably something wrong in your pitstop. I suggest to you not to change your tires til the end... your car will be a bit slower, but you gain more than 20 seconds without changes. The Dunlop 184 can go quite good til a tire wear of 30.0 (based on GTR2 xd minimotec), and in most cases, you really don't need to change it. I really enjoyed this race from the start to the end, managing a great come back from the 7th position, til the "last" (it sholdn't be the last) lap in which I gained a deserved 2nd place overtaking Lele after a great pressure for three laps in row. Mostly a fought race with many of you, so it was a real fun. Thanks to my VDA mates for their support. I hope to meet even Ian & Mike for the next races... c'mon guys, come back to race!! Grats to Gavino (Ayrton) that was on another planet, I bet that the next one, with the different groupings would be even more interesting! Cu guys

"I want to apologize with hotkeys," No need to appologize Manteos 'Schummi' , no one hits other drivers un purpose in this community as far as I can tell ..... and you are right, I was pretty laggy. I'm racing from another location than my usual, and the connection is pretty slow Had a great duel with Legzy ( and some other TR4 ) for many laps, that was great racing. I didn't change tyres and had a fine pitstop - even managed to turn off the engine before stopping. But as usual I started loosing my focus after appr. 30 minutes, and in the last chikane I ruined the suspension got myself a stop and go at the same time. :'( :'( Won't be able to race next week, but I'll be back for more fun Stig / Hotkeys

Well if that was a quiet, boring race with nobody to race against for long stretches then I'll each my wheel.
At the end, the fight with Tudor for top honours in the Elites was going to be down to the pit stops. Something that neither of us excels at.
I did mine but Tudor must have been running on fumes by the time that the race ended ahead of schedule.
I vote for a rerun at the end of the season.

Good race that, had battles/chases from start to finish, though only with other TR4s it must be said. Good fun all the same. This is a good track for racing. Not sure how this would have worked if race went to its apparent end (some said it finished early?) but that was two full tanks of fuel and i crossed the line on fumes so if there had been another allleged 10minutes to go, i assume all the Tr4s would have had to make a 2nd fuel stop I actually (finally!) jumped someone ahead with my pitstop and overtook Geoffers who had been 2nd or 3rd at the time. I assume there is no pit speed limit for our P&G events? as someone screamed past me in the pitlane when i thought we had to stick to 1st gear The two italians gained a healthy 17-20 second lead over me in the stops so assume thats because they never changed tyres, but i couldnt close on them with my new fronts (Kept my rears). On penultimate lap i caught Goldtop? in his well driven Elite that passed me when i pitted, but the sneaky Geoffers took advantage of me being held up slightly behind him in a corner exit and nicked 4th off me on the blinking last lap...ya swine! Was pleased with 5th Anyone else think a nice little rain shower at some point would have really spiced up that race ?

I was running a full tank with longish gears and planned on taking just 12L with no tyres on the lap after the flag came out. As it happened my brain told me to pit when I saw the race ending early Rerun? races end early through red flags all the time in the real world But seriously, I don't mind a rerun; I was carrying damage for a lot of the race after colliding with a wayward TR4 and for some reason my framerate went very wobbly from about midrace particularly around the chicane. That's never happened before Was a cracking event though with lots of close racing and some epic battles

I don't know if someone has stolen your tank, but I guess that you didn't put all the fuel needed to finish the race... or something similar. When the race finished I had 30 litres fuel in my tank, enough to finish a 1 hour race. I actually (finally!) jumped someone ahead with my pitstop and overtook Geoffers who had been 2nd or 3rd at the time. I assume there is no pit speed limit for our P&G events? as someone screamed past me in the pitlane when i thought we had to stick to 1st gear Yes Mark, no speed limiter in this champ The two italians gained a healthy 17-20 second lead over me in the stops so assume thats because they never changed tyres, but i couldnt close on them with my new fronts (Kept my rears).
I can say that is wrong Mark. If you change only the front tyres, you will have too much grip in the front, and a really low grip to the rear tyres. That cause some issues on your drive in the 2nd part of the race. This happens aswell if you only change the rear tyres, but with an inverted situation. I follow to suggest not to change the tires at all, or to change 4 tyres, never 2! Hope my suggestions will be useful THanx to Hotkes for the comprehension about our crash, I hope the next time you'll be luckier mate! Cu for the next

Interesting that MJ was going to have to stop again.
I suffered in my pit stop because the cursor was difficult to control on the clipboard. I think it was because i had mapped the POV thingy to control cursor and it was giving rapid multiple hits. I shall map the POV thingy to the keyboard cursor keys and see if that is any better.
It was a great event but I hope that future events will be either tested for race duration or just done to a fixed number of laps.
Great car set. I needed to do more long runs in the Elite as it seemed to me that the rear tyres got a bit loose and it cost me dear in the battle with Tudor, TT and the TR4s.

"(5) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race." I just checked the Notes for the race before the start

Brilliant race, action from start to finish Previously I had never been too quick in the TR but a few changes on Wednesday night seemed to transform the car & got me 4th on the grid. At the start Marco got ahead of me & I held 5th for a few laps until Marco, Lele & Manteos all made mistakes within a lap of each other & I reached the lofty heights of 2nd place . Then followed a battle with Marco which lasted until around lap 20 when I spun at the chicane, rejoined still in 3rd & then came the pitstop . Made a real mess of getting the pitboard right, kept pressing the wrong key, doh!, & also made the silly decision to change the front tyres. It didn't make any difference to the handling either good or bad & was just a waste of time. Rejoined in 8th just behind API, got past him quite quickly & set off after MJ who was around 3s ahead. moved to 6th when Clive pitted & gradually closed on MJ & Goldtop. On what turned out to be the last lap they were arguing about position going onto the back straight which slowed them both up & I managed to pass both of them & nick 4th place. Quite pleased with that, but without the spin & pitstop mess-up I might have been able to challenge for 2nd, oh well Congrats to the flying Ayrton, Manteos & Lele Cya all at Charade. Looks like it may be the TR again.

Rather enjoyed that one, with great pain and personal suffering I shunned my much loved TR4 as they were common as muck at this race Took the famous Italian washing machine as it was my next quickest, and TT was the only other person with one and our practice times had been a tenth apart. was doing ok until I nerfed Stig trying to keep out of trouble when a bunch of cars got together in the final chicane, waited of course, but by the time he'd got the right way round several cars had passed, no biggie for me, didn;t lose much time, sorry for that Stig, I was keeping tight I guess you just being extra polite Spun myself out of turn two after that and set about trying to keep up with Legzy, and keep Lorrenzo at bay Might have placed better if I had not made some silly judgements, but was an enjoyable race all the same.
