Sorry couldn't make it tonight as it was the wife's birthday yesterday. Would have been the end of my racing career if I hadn't taken her out!
I did try the track though and I don't think it was the best maintained. No pitlane speed limit, you were able to cut the track without penalty in a number of places and there was a bottomless pit just after the last bend on the inside of the pit straight.
Normal service should be resumed for me next Wednesday.

I have complaints too, all aimed at myself. The track was least of my worries.
I saw no one was going with the McLaren, so I did. Except for ten minutes offline, pre race, I hadn't driven it, practice n qual went better than I thought they would. But, during qual I realised I couldn't see a mirror (eye point, seating position obviously involved). Stopped to try n find a virtual mirror, unsuccessfully.
Hopefully we/I get to use the tophat for a rearview button, soon.
Out of time, sitting on the grid, we were off. I got the start a bit better than the GT2 race, then pulled over to let everyone by, so the mirror (or lack there of) wasn't an issue. Passing others (who were much faster) having misfortune, just made me paranoid. I was outbraking myself into turn one, watching for others laps to register. I'd run the soft tyres off of it before half way, I was lost. Once put down to 6th and my laps being about 7/8 secs off, I decided discretion was the better part.
Grats to everyone else, while I was involved, it was great. Thanks all.

Where and when is the next race then? Still think we should start to do sign ups for these races too, might encourage more commitment. Of course, could go the other way and make people think its not worth turning up with only a handful of drivers pledging intent to race

Next time pick the Hungaroring from this site under f1 tracks, looks much better (only just looked at this version sorry) and drives much better. Tried downloading this track and any of the tracks from that site and nothing happens. It goes to mediafire when you click download but just a blank page after that.

Weird, I get this page with download button and when I click the button it opens a windows for where to put it. This what the link points to http://www.mediafire.com/download/3iy404r5xo0c60i/ac_hungaroring_v.1.0.rarMaybe something is blocking it? I use Firefox as browser btw.

No still just a blank page. Tried IE and Firefox, same thing.
Got it to work by right clicking the download button and "Save Link As".
