Manteos, thanks for providing a setup for us window lickers. I'll be trying it tonight to see if I can get anywhere near the times being stated.

How does one become a "licker of windows"? Stamps yes, other things perhaps, but windows? ?? Manged 2:08.9 so far, 9's are doable, Can fry bacon and eggs on the left rear mind

Great laptime ! Can fry bacon and eggs on the left rear mind If you set the rear left tyrepreasure at 300 kPa, I think you'll be able to keep the temp at a reasonable level, and it doesn't affect the handling much IMO. Did a 2.09.100 myself but most likeky, that's my limit Stig / Hotkeys

Tried Manteos setup tonight and my time improved by 3 secs. Then went back to my own setup and did the same times Uh?
Anyway I'm finding the whole thing a joyless experience so I'll leave this one to the P&G purists. Have fun.

Can see why the Berlinetta doesn't get much mileage. Pretty uninspiring to drive, but at least it does sound good at full throttle. Down to mid 2:09s which I'm hoping will give me a few folk to race with.

Like Manteos said, clean and smooth pays huge dividends at Zandvoort.
Looks like I'll be running near the back if I make this one then, as I can't help drifting the 250 on every opportunity

Did a 2.09.100 myself but most likeky, that's my limit Stig / Hotkeys Sorry Hotkeys but my setup had some bag... Yesterday, after chatting with ade and Ian, I inflated my tyres too, as they suggested me... 280 kpa is the limit I need to let the left tyres remaining on a reasonable temperature and go as fast as possible without caring about the temp... Another thing you can try is to soften the front springs to have a bit more grip, and maybe you can even pull down a bit the Caster value (I put it at 5.0). As Tony said unfortunately even with the best setup ever, I never managed to improve my time more than 6/7 tenth of second, and with that car is too difficult to understand how it need to be driven, and the spread between drivers increases a bit if you haven't much time to train aswell I hope to see you all at the race tonight, Zandvoort is a challenging track, and races will be funny! At least I hope so! Cu later

wish i hadnt turned up. Had no chance for any laps whatsoever this week. Thought i at least knew the track only to find it was the more modern zaandvoort which ive only ever raced on once before back in early days of GTL. Know the 67 circuit well, not this one. Can usually find some pace after a few laps but here i was just spinning every other corner so quit as had no chance. Shame as those cars and these sweeping curves would be great fun with some praccy. Hope you all had a decent one, im off to sunny climes for a week and then onto Spa in my 911..huzzah!

Enjoy your hols MJ Luckily, I had time for some pracci last night and I needed it as that combo was tricky to pick up for me. Under pressure in first race and happy to bring it home with no real incidents. To be honest, I was too hot to try quali for R2 so thx for ade and Matteo for joining me. Good fun coming back through the field and was pleased as punch with my clean pass on Geoffers until........2 corners later No worries mate, you must brake ruddy late there Good fun and thx all. For me, the two sprint races in a night offer nothing over a one race sprint. Anyways, I look forward to taking part in either

It was good fun but I don't think that I will be able to do this format of races unless I can leave between races and do a quick defrag, regclean, sweep the chimney and vacuum next door's cat.
I have always had to use Ade's Gamebooster to defrag the PnG folder before an on-line race and I don't think that it is coincidence that the blasted thing fell over in the second race.
Shame too, as I was in 3rd at about half distance, thanks to the great and the good starting from the back of the grid.

Nice little battle with Clive and Matt in Race 1 and Terry in Race 2. Pleased that I was able to keep the wayward fezza pointing in the general intended direction, but not a car that I would normally choose to drive; a bit of a comedy car imho.
I don't like the 2 race format. Race 2 just didn't have the buzz, especially using the same car. A longer single sprint, say 40 mins like the GTR2 sprints would be a better option imho.
Congrats to both podies and well done to those who started Race 2 at the back to spice things up. Bad luck to those discoers.

Good bit o' fun. Was ok doing two for me, but seemed a bit awkward. I mosty dropped out of the 2nd race when we did Rallye oval thing. This was better than that, but prefer the "normal" format.
