This is race 1 of two 20 minute sprints. I want to try 2 sprints because most of the race action takes place within the 1st 10 laps of a race. These high action sprints should make a nice compliment to the 60 minute strategy races. Please stick around for both events. You won't want to miss the action from the race 2. Get a 2nd chance to beat your rivals and improve upon the 1st race. If you crash out early, continue on or escape to watch other battles on track until the 2nd event starts. I'm sure all of us can learn from watching the in-car and TV action. Race 2 quali session will take place immediately following race 1.

Mike, congratulations. I think this is new, refreshing and innovative and I hope it's as good as it sounds.
However if I could contribute one tiny suggestion. Could each race feature two cars then we could have swopsies?

Awesome track for classics racing Yes did also think it would be nice for the Fezza to have another make to battle against if there is a fairly evenly matched car...4 spd E-type? Not that i'd be too unhappy racing the snazzy 250

Good call Mark but in terms of performance wouldn't the 5 speed be a closer match?

On the server, both the Berlinetta and the competizione versions are available.
Only the Berlinetta will be allowed, am I right ?

Thanks for the kudo's guys. Only the Berlinetta will be available for both races. I thought of adding the Jag or even a Mustang to the mix, but the Berlinetta usually doesn't get much love so I figured we should give it some attention.

Good call Mark but in terms of performance wouldn't the 5 speed be a closer match? All the e-types are too good for the berlinetta, in fact the slowest e-types are on a similar pace to the 250 competizione.

I've combined the details for both races in this 1 topic and have removed the 2nd race topic. Notice the start time for both races are posted here. The start time for the 2nd race is approximate. Effectively, quali for race 2 will begin as soon as the server automatically moves from race 1 to race 2.
If all goes well, the results from both races should appear in this one topic. Thanks for your help Dave!

I've done a bit of practice but haven't a clue what my pace should be.
So where does 2:10.1xx put me in the grand scheme of things?
