I can't make this one either as I'm working up in Scotland. My freezes have mostly been towards the end of a race, suggesting heat build up. It has happened with both NVIDIA 8800GT, and ATI5870 ( I think 5870...) I run with the side off the case, yet with my new build box, it froze early on in it's 1st ever event so I took someone's advice (Tudor?) and set manual fan control on the graphics card. I set it at 66% and It's not had a freeze during the several events since.

Yes, I always use manual fan when racing. However, I was starting to have problems over the last couple of weeks with CTDs BSODs. Thought my ATI HD4850 was going out as it was overheating and giving low fps. Solution: Switch off your PC. Get the hoover out and a small brush and give the inside of the case and all components a thorough clean. Use the brush to lightly sweep the dust off all surfaces into the nozzle of the hoover (and don't be tempted to use the suction to turn the fans). Finally go around all components and just check that they are correctly seated and all connections are secure. My fps is now back to healthy levels, as is the temp of my card and no more problems so far

4secs of the pace and no one to race with. That was truly tedious. EDIT: Mike, I forgot to offer my thanks for running a lovely series. Like the format and look forward to the same again but probably in another class of cars maybe? Didn't partake in your other offering so can't comment. Anyway, well done Sir

What a shame that the last race of the season was probably the only dull one . Just didn't happen for me & started getting very sloppy the longer the race went on. I've thought during the last two/three races of this series, that it's a shame we didn't alternate races between these little cars & the power group , think that could have worked quite well & also not scared of a few muscle type drivers. I've driven a different car at each of the last few races, but I think I just missed a little bit more variety. Still, lesson learnt & a good enjoyable season overall.

Apologies for flipping in/out of the game and joining at the last moment. Recently got a new modem/router from my ISP and although a fancy one, it had some issues. At the beginning of the race kept last position because I didn't want to cause havoc because of a disco. Anyways, thanks Mike for organising this series. Sometimes it created great racing and sometimes it didn't.. well, I liked the idea anyways. Hope you can join us more next season. 4secs of the pace and no one to race with. That was truly tedious. Yep, field was a bit spread out. Dunno why. Because of the long straights perhaps?

The last race was the hardest. Daniele was faster than me but luckily I managed to reject his attacks. So instead of talking about my victory, I am pleased to speak to Daniel and what has improved in recent months. In the future I think will be the rider to beat. I thank all my teammates. Without them we will never be able to win the team championship. I especially thank all the English boys. In recent months we have hosted and we have always treated wonderfully. I thank Mike Miller, Ade, Goldtop, Legzy and all the guys who organized this wonderful season. Hope to meet you soon, maybe at the event that we organized with the PnG @ Istanbul

Wasnt entirely pleased about being run off the road down the back straight on the first lap, with the power advantage i had got along side but tried to come through as far as i could. Realised my fuel calc was a bit out so planned to put more in at the stop, called for the stop, but cam in but i could quite position the car right as i never got the pitboard up. Even saw the pit crew walk off! I tried going around for anoth o but felt i could take the pit entry corner a bit quicker but misjuded it and hit the pitwall. Have enjoyed these races i've done, didnt realise the series ended so soon. Congrats to all.

I want to thank all the people that I met on my road in Mid-Ohio!!! I had 3 fantastic battles with Clive, API and during the final laps with ade, that was really fast with his Mini!!! Great overtake by him at the last corner when missing only 2 laps to go! Great drive mate, sorry if I was a bit wide sometimes, but the tyres were giving up me ! Thanks to the VDA guys who followed me here even this summer, and enjoyed a lot their races! Especially Gavino and Lele were absolutely on another planet in this series... scary fast with the ankle biters!! Another great team result by VDA! I hope that I will manage to collect a team for the next champ, compatibly to the Italian championship we will do with the P&G... v3.0 I guess! We will see for the last race of reverse grid on next Thursday. Cu!

Wasnt entirely pleased about being run off the road down the back straight on the first lap, with the power advantage i had got along side but tried to come through as far as i could. I think it was me there, I'm sorry, but I had to give room to another car on my left side toward the right kink. A three wide there wouldn't have been safe at all. IMO is the car behind that has to take care of the car ahead that has the line. Anyway I'm happy you kept it straight on the grass and didn't crash. Ciao
