The 1967 Sports Cars Extra present a rather different challenge to the light and nimble Grand Prix cars.  They are larger and heavier but are equiped with massive engines delivering lots of power. Whilst drivers of all abilities are welcome it is expected that entrants will be reasonably adept at handling the more forgiving 65 cars before attempting to master these heavy machines.   The final championship positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst result.

There are eight rounds and ten chassis to choose from. Each driver must use a different chassis for each race. The faster drivers will be placed in the "Works" category with the remaining drivers placed in the "Privateers" category.  The "Works" drivers are not allowed to use either the Porsche 910-8 or the Alfa Romeo T33.

Any competitor who drives a car they have used before will be disqualified from the race.

There will be rolling starts at some tracks. The details will be posted in the race announcement.

The Intermediate damage model will be used.
A single of Shift-R is allowed with no need to make Stop & Go.
Race Length: 50 minutes.
Drivers must complete 50% race distance to score.
Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents do carry an extra 1 place penalty.
Only reported incidents will be moderated.
