Division 1 is intended for the most talented drivers in the league who want to use a chassis of their choice.   The final championship positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst two results.  Division 1 will be run under PRO rules.

Race Length: 50 minutes

Overview:

Drivers have a free choice of chassis but must complete the designated pit stop(s) for that chassis. Pit stop details will be provided as part of the race announcements. The durations of the pit stops are based on the published world record times and configured to equalize the relative performance of each chassis over the race duration of 50 minutes.

PRO rules means Shift-Rs are not allowed at any time and the damage model is realistic.  The handicap format for this division is aimed at levelling car performance by a system of pit stops.  It should not matter what chassis are chosen, the fastest driver should always win the race.  Naturally the fastest driver should also win the championship.
