The Intermediates Trophy is intended to provide a competitive championship using the 65 mod. This mod is for faster drivers who do not feel ready for the full rigours of the Pro championship. The final championship positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst two results.

Handicapping will be introduced from race three onwards and will only affect the top three drivers in the championship. Race ten will not be handicapped. The top three drivers will be limited to a slower car. If handicapping is in action then handicapped drivers will be notified in the race post.

ONE SHIFT-R allowed (with a Stop n Go of 0 seconds)
No Stop n Go within two laps = DQ
Multiple SHIFT-R = DQ
Incorrect Stop n Go = 30 seconds added
Last lap SHIFT-R gains a 15 second penalty if a Stop is not possible.
