Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?pid=7) especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/), 2.1 patch from here (http://www.gtlw.co.uk/) and enable terrain patch.
(4) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

Never did an oval in wet conditions and at night. Great! Let's do it - just curious, what will happen  :D

Keen as I am to support my talented race designer accomplice...
There's a reason they don't run ovals in the wet...
Night is fine if there's good lighting except it may kill some people's frame rates.

Talented race designer is willing to drop both wetness and darkness if it means filling up the grid slots. I just thought it would be worth a go. Tell me if I'm wrong and it will be sorted.

Did some laps in wet and dark.
Wet condition is not as spectacular as I expected, the dark is ok for me.

No problem for me if you leave it like it is or you change weather.

Would like to see wet races on road courses again one day

Personally. I think 2 out of 3 is enough, Oval.....Dark......Wet......
me? I would drop the wet.
Might not get anymore entries, but it has to help.

Hi guys :)

The italian ROTW P&G championship is starting on the 1st of December. We will race every 2 weeks on Thursdays, so I won't join the next 2 races here, but if I'm in Rome I'll try to join the Goodwood event.

For the next season if I'm not wrong, you are planning to race again every Thursday, so I will be able to do a race every 2 weeks here. As ever I will do my best to join as many races as possible.

Looking forward to this one especially as my racing nights are getting fewer and fewer these days.

Frame rate seems fine for me in the dark and even better than some PnG events I've raced. In fact, with all the floodlighting no-one should need their lights on which has got to help the fps.

I will make it to this one. Look for me in a Penske L88.

Hey Goldtop, how much did you pay Eifelblitz to take out the opposition?  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I had a nice start to the race, but a disappointing finish. I decided to run the Bergen instead of the Penske to try to handicap myself a bit. The Bergen has the same motor as the Penske, but much less tire. I was .7 to .8 seconds per lap quicker in the Penske. I was happy that I switched last minute because GT, Geoffers and I had a great race going. Geoffers was all over me the first few laps and could easily turn under me anywhere he pleased. Exiting turn 2, he clipped the apron and turned himself around leaving GT to chase me down.

GT closed within 2.5 seconds mid race. The Cobra lept off the corner, but suffered a little on the top end. It seemed like I got into turns 1 and 3 quicker and he got through 2 and 4 quicker. I could see Geoffers in the distance closing in on GT so I felt good with 15 or so laps to go. Eifleblitz ended up losing it between turns 1 and 2. I slowed to give my self some extra time to make a last minute move if needed, but it wasn't enough to dodge his car coming down the track perpendicular to the racing line. I hit him with a ton of force with the right front corner of my car sending him back up the track and me spinning drivers left. I tried to get the car going again, but it was severely damaged. It didn't resemble a race car at all as it crabbed down the road. I had to park it.

It was nice to race with you guys again. Hopefully I can get another reprieve from work to join you.

Shame both Mike and Geoffers got taken out the same way.
I had a great battle with Alex most of the race, sometimes I got past, then he'd pull away a bit
some very grown up side by side stuff through the turns.  8)

Expected a lonely race when I looked at the qually times.
Seemed your open top seemed to suffer on the straight while I had trouble turning in.
Missed my spotter with the southern accent from the ancient Nascar game tho.
Sometimes I had to guess where you at. Great fun!
 
Sad to see half the field with issues but still happy with second  :P

Totally frustrated.
Killed the race of two leaders (I'm so sorry Mike and Geoffers  :( )

First one after a turner I touched the wall and was just my own passenger
when rolling back to the infield.
Saw Mike coming but could not avoid that he hit me.
Unfortunately he couldn't continue.

Second one was just after my antivirus software wanted to update
(although I disabled the update feature  ???) which I denied - but I had
no screen at that particular moment - heard somebody coming and thought
 - oh my god - not once again! Then my screen was back and I saw Geoffers damaged
in front of mine and me on head over heels.

That was it and should not happen anymore.

Absolut low point!

Desperate luck there Geoffers and Mike. A shame as it was shaping up for a nice battle with the Cobra's tyres seeming to fair better than the L88's towards race end.

Nice to do something different and a shame there weren't a few more able to make it.

No worries Eifel, just one of those things. Like Mike I saw you spin & slowed to take avoiding action, decided to go low as you were near the wall but then your car rolled down straight in front of me  :eek:. I didn't follow the golden rule of NASCAR, 'aim for the car, when you get there it will be gone'. Still it was good fun, I quite like ovals, especially when you get in a dice with one or two others.
