Grid/server capacity: 25 Practice: 20.00 (25 mins) Race 1 Qualifying: 20:25 (15 mins) Race 1: 20:40 20mins, then following shortly afterwards with reverse grid Race 2: 20mins Track: Snetterton Cars allowed: Any car from WTCC06 or WTCC07 Time of Day Setting: 14:00 Weather: DRY Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: www.simracing.org.uk Password: see above Notes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd. Held on to pole for a while until Mike managed to creep ahead slowley then RR decided to put the boot in and go 4 tenths quicker! Another useless start and i dropped back behind everyone but enjoyed running with nsfast, Pete and Mike as they all came past eventually but couldnt keep up. Actually found it hard to drive without the PD display to tell me whats going on. I'd been out running earlier and i gusses didnt really do any stretches after and pulled my legs under my chair when my leg tightened up painfully. Was trying to keep stretching my leg after the first race when i accidently hit the switch on the 4-way extension that i have my PC and wheel plugged into :'( Couldnt get the AI any quicker sadly. Next week its Imola, we did have some issues with cut tracks in the Evo race we did so will likely turn off flags. The steam update only finished with 9mins of Qualy left. Then found my pedals didn't work properly. After much stress and panic finally got everything working in time to put one hesitant lap in before the race. :scared:
Very pleased I made it. Both races were great fun. Some great wheel to wheel stuff with everyone at one time or another. Quality driving all round. :) Just need a few more to join the fun. |
