Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R;group=330;theme=5)

Four to go and it's too close to call between the top four. Car choice will be critical.................

Clarification please Tony.

There is time to be gained by running out wide at the exit of Ascari. When I ran the F1 88 series here the question came up and I stuck by our usual rules....2 wheels on track and no running out. Then that weekend I remember watching the F1 and this rule wasn't enforced with all cars running outside the lines of the track (and I seem to remember Webber coming a cropper through doing this  ::)).

I have no preference, but just want an equal playing field.

Sorry but I missed this post prior to the race. Cuts are off for this race so basically you can go wide if needs be.

puh, that was a hard race.

in beginning i had good lead to geoffers, but then i saw in XD, that engine was red!!! (18%) and i did knot know how much engine do drop in this cars, so i did corners with 1 gear higher (if possible), shift little more early and do auto clutch on.
this was i think in lap 8 already, and my laptimes drop around 1 sec. (or more?? not sure) and geoffers did come closer and closer and did very much fast laps, i was much nervous in this time of race and was not happy about the situation.
but lucky for me, suddently geoffers stop to make much pressure (think tyres?) and i saw that engine was still around 12% and so i did last laps again with more push push.

i do like this boss car and this trackversrion of monza i like too, little more then the modern monza version, where i do spin often in first 2 corners (chicanes), more easy this version is.

congrats goeffers for 2nd place and
congrats s. drake for 3rd place.

very happy with my performance i was, this was only my 2nd race ever with this car after paul ricard race (i think) where i did loose connection short before end of race, more luck for me this race -).

servus

Congrats Berger on the win and Geoffers on second.
I got up to third early on and was a few seconds ahead of Navin. He slowly pulled that gap, and then was on my tail for a long time. I could see I was much slower through the chicane before lesmos, but my better top speed was helping me stay ahead. The first time I did a half mistake at the lesmos chicane Navin sneaked past me. But I was able to study his lines, and improve my lap times and stay with him. It went like that for a few laps, when suddenly, with about three laps to go, Navins car started smoking. For about half a lap I couldn't see anything, I was driving pretty much blind, and then Navin pulled over, his engine done. Hard luck Navin, but a great battle for that last podium spot.

Had a horrible start bogging it from the very beginning. Was dead last going into the first sets of corners. Just tried to be smooth and consistent from that point. Like Syd said, I closed in slowly and then ran for many laps behind Syd who was being very consistent. Our laps times were so close. I just tried to position myself for a pass if an opportunity materialized. Syd made a very small mistake exiting the Variante Della Roggia and I was on it through for 3rd. Syd then kept the pressure on me for the next few laps until I felt a loss in power and whamo she blew up!! :o. I must admit I didn't even look at my cars health at the beginning or at any point in the race ::) . So a GTL XP 101 error for me :P. Excellent battling with you Syd 8) just the same. Congrats Syd for a well deserved pody. Also grats to Berger and Geoffers.

Struggled with my entry into Lesmo 1 in practice/quali and was my undoing in race. Was struggling to hang on to the back of Geoffers and pushed too hard resulting in a spin and a rejoin in last after a few laps. I chased back and managed to put a move on a compliant Senyorlobo into the Parabolica but that was as good as it got for me.

Somehow I'd convinced myself that this was the last race in the series and took my last available BMW ride  ::) Looks like the Escort for the remaining races as I've fallen out with the 911 and I'm far too refined for the stang  ;)

Oh and grats to Berger and pody and unlucky Navin.

Good fun in the Boss Mustang around Monza, not too many corners

Chased Berger for the entire race, kept up for the first 3-4 laps then made a mistake exiting the Ascari chicane & lost 3-4s. Gap grew some more until I got into a good rhythm & the lap times inproved which seemed to coincide with Berger taking it easier. Started to close in until Ascari caught me out again, & then a 3rd time. By then the car was getting a little trickier to drive, particularly being more skittish on the brakes, so I took it a bit easier over the last few laps so as not to put it in the barriers. 2nd better than a DNF. ;)

Congrats to Berger & Syd.
