(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R;group=332;theme=5) (4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Title: Re: UKGTL Season 12 The Triumph Trophy - Thruxton - Nov 12 Post by: Geoffers on November 13, 2012, 08:54:41 AM +0000 Congrats to Hristo, Matt & Tony on the championship podium.
Good race for me apart from totally missing Church Corner mid-way through & having an extended grassy moment. Bet Tony wondered what I was doing! ::) Big thanks to Tony for organising. :thumbup1: Title: Re: UKGTL Season 12 The Triumph Trophy - Thruxton - Nov 12 Post by: SpecialKS on November 13, 2012, 12:25:30 PM +0000 Looked like a complete new track for me - I think I never ran a single lap here before.
Had an acceptable qualy on this bumpy one and hoped - like so often - for a kind of a better race. But in race all was complete different - car reacted in a way I didn't expect so I fell to last place very early, damaged my suspension and had to quit for good :( Congratulations to Hristo for the winning the championship, to Geoffers for winning this one and to the podium. Many thanks again to Tony and all UKGTL staff involved for organizing this series :) |
