Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

(3) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(6) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(7) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

This gonna be a hard 1

just done 30 laps praccy, (more than my entire preparation for last weeks race here in the GTC's as i only did my first laps an hour before the race!)

i did a 1:12.5 fastest so far and regularly in the mid 13's, the only changes i have made to the default setup so far are fiddling with the gear ratios and softening the fast bump/rebound, has any one else got any lap times yet?

strugling here. got a 1.14:8 probly get that down but 1 or 2 secs but gonna be a tough one

Seems it's gonna be a rainy race again.

After few laps in race trim, I managed a 1.12.6 so far... but I can do surely a bit better. However it's going to be a hard race, this track is very bumpy, and I'm experiencing a lot of troubles to keep the RS on the track.

Hope to be able to race...

Hmmm....mid 1:11s for me after a dozen laps offline. Usually find for some reason it's a bit slower online though  ???

Indeed whih is why i dont practise offline anymore, too deceiving.

hey folks sorry to say this at such a late time of day but I will not be competing untill further notice.

My tv has just goon poof so all i have is my laptop as i dont have a monitor anymore.

Sorry folks i will keep you updated. hopefully i will be able to make the next lmp2 race but looks doubtful for the gtc race.

What, just jump to the closest store and buy a new one.   :P

I had plenty of action throughout the entire race. I was pressuring Legzy in the first half of the race but, we got 'a bit too close' a few times. I was racing close with nsfast in the 2nd half of the race and I almost caught spanner at the end but, he held it together well for those last few laps and I was not close enough to pass.

I have found the LMP2 races have offered me some close action in every event so far. :)

Nice race for me too ;)

Started from the Pole, I was trying to heat the tyres, but stupidly, I spun into the barrier on the straight... LOL

So I started from the 5th position, but at the second corner, I went wide on the grass, losing other positions... what a noob! Luckily these cars are made of Titanium, and only aero damage was done to the car.

I started my come back, duel after duel with some drivers. H@l was very "kind" and let me pass. I found vey difficult to pass SRW, that was defending his position very hardly, but after some laps I was succesful. Another couple of fights lasted til the drivers in front of me did a mistake. When I was in second place, I replaced the gap on GT lap after lap, and taking advantage of his mistake I passed him.
GT decided to pit in that lap, and I did the same 3 laps later... this time changing my usual strategy. I was too busy in my come back, that I forgot to check how many litres of fuel I need to finished the race, so I refilled 70 litres, repaired my aero damage, and changed the tyres. Despite of it, I came on track, with an advantage of about 8 seconds.
I waited until the tyres were up to the right temperature, and I started a series of hotlaps with a very good pace, managing to turn regularly on the mid 11 pace, during all the second half of the race.
I had a couple of LOL outs after my attempts to lap Legzy always in the same corner, so I imagine Legzy was laughing a bit for this reason  :D :D
The race was almost finished, and I had more than 20 seconds of advantage by Gt and the other followers, so I was pretty happy for the result.
I love prototypes, and the G25 makes the rest :)

Had only run with full fuel so was very surprised to find myself in 2nd. Even more surprised to see Manteos spin off like a NOOB!!!!!!! lol but i really need to work on my setups more as the track was pretty tricky and i could hang on for qually but hadnt really done any longer runs. I had far too many offs  :( the car was a bit too twitchy at times, maybe i just pushed too much :-\ But i think the softs on the front didnt really work for me once they started wearing and the lack of grip at the front made it a bit tricky. So once i'd dropped off down to around 6th decided i'd stick meds on the front which should give a bit more stability to the car. Once i got stuck behind H@L and Legzy decided to pit and had a blindin stop coming out well ahead and the car felt alot better, able to be alot more consistent as i tried to chase Rob.

But the track still bit me! Getting past Rob then falling off several times lol Had to really concentrate to stay in front of H@L at the end. Too many TS distractions :-\ You really need to concentrate in these things.

Qualied 5th but some early mistakes by others meant that I was soon in the lead.

I managed to pull a decent gap and was pretty consistent with my laps but was being closed down quickly by Manteos who caught me on my inlap while I was fumbling with some pit settings. I ran wide on the approach to Carousel which allowed an easy pass. I really should have made it more difficult and I could have stayed out for a couple more laps which would have been fun, but I after the pass I decided to pit straight away.

From there on it was a case of watching Manteos disappear at a rate of over a second a lap which I had no answer for. Decided to just manage the gap behind to be happy with another 2nd place.

Grats to Manteos for a dominant win and to Rob for the pody.

I should be back for the LMP2 race at road america. the tv is getting collected on thursday. sorry but your gonna have to earn the points without me on sunday for the gtc race
