Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see

(4) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function.You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

The TR 4 was the car that got me hooked on P&G. It's by far the car with the best real-drive feeling IMO and of course I will pick it.
I know this is a favorite car for Matt, so keep an eye on him  :detective:

The cars are fun to drive, the track is fun to drive and well suited for theses car I think  ..... it's gonna be a blast  ;D

hmm, i dont believe ive ever raced at Oran Park  :-\ Best do some recce laps!  I love the P&G Elite and the TR4 so will have to try both  :)

what a fabulous track !  8)  My favourite sort, fast flowing undulating corners, nice. :)

Only got down to a 1:22.5 in the Elite though. Its near 70bhp down on the Tr4 so not surprising ! and that hurts on the uphill final corner where you want some grunt for the s/f straight.

I could not get the TR4's to work here as the engines kept overheating then catching fire !  :o I tried 3 times and tried both TR4s, even quitting out and returning, but each time the engine detonated after 2-3 laps  ???  Must have been a dodgy batch of Triumph engine parts from the factory  ;)  Can someone else test and confirm? I got the Oran track from No-grip via Tonys link.

Are you using all 5 gears MJ?

We have run at Oran Park a couple of times in the past, possibly with GTL and it usually produces
a decent race  ;)

Elite can't touch the TR4 on the straights, but can carry way more speed through the
curves, and it takes the TR too long to catch on a straight to easily get past
Don't have my times with me, but all were within a second, Elite was slightly slower than
the other two for me, but then my Elite times are always poor compared to Geoffers
and other ELite experts. I will be home for this, and probably Monday too, so I will get
the next event up before the end of the week, is a very different track, and is
mostly there for historic correctness, as I am trying to sort of replicate the
Tasman Cup and other old Oz/Kiwi seasons. Should be a hoot though, will be
a bit like Rheims with kangaroos.

I just tried it and I'm still in the 23s   :(

1:22.0 for me in the TR4  :)  Had to spend half hour sorting a setup and tyre pressures as the default was rubbish. It had positive 2.0 toe on the front  ??? Odd.

No idea why the TR4 kept detonating on me the other day. I was using a St Jovite setup i had for it, but as soon as i switched to default, then tweaked, it was fine.

Just had a quick blast round in the Elite and I'm into the 21s with race setup. Should be good fun trying to sneak past the TR4s in the twisty bits.

You guys are way quicker than I was. I was getting high 23s with TR4 and Fiat, and low 24s with ELite
all with race fuel, so maybe I will go a bit faster.

Hadn't even noticed the Fiat on the list.

The TR4 is too much fun to consider either of the alternatives.

Just hope that the roller skates behave themselves.  ::)

Might be worth flagging up a big caution notice about Turns 1-2 on the first lap mind. Thats a seriously heavy and tricky braking zone from flat out, all on a curve and with a slight crest mid way under braking, with cold tyres and brakes  :o...could be a disaster waiting to happen!

Should be a great track and car combo for close racing though, with plenty of over taking opportunities  8)

Can't say I'm a big fan of these "technical" motorcycle circuits and I'm struggling to find enough time to get some decent praccy in.

Seconded! Did a league race in Minis here some time ago and it was great fun, but that first corner was a pig. Love the track though, a real exercise in maintaining speed in these little cars.

Well you might try practicing going backwards for when we use the actual motorbike layout  :laugh:

The lightning bug is there to give another option for those who want one.
it is possibly a race winner in the right hands, and is potentially faster than the other two.

Fried the Elite gearbox when I shifted too early to 2nd in the last corner.
Didn't know the damage was modeled in this way because normally the gearbox can take a beating in PnG (= indestructible)  ???

Slow and off the pace. Will join Tony in his efforts for the MotoGP circuit.

I'll take the Abarth for fighting at the back of the field too  ;D

The Fiat is a bit of a worry.  I have observed it "seeing off" much faster cars than the TR4 and Elite.

I can see Mighty Manteos turning up in a Brit bashing Abarth  :)

Mighty Manteos and his faster chums would likely be as quick whatever they drove.
If you fancy the Fiat then use it. For me TR4 was slighy faster. then Fiat, then ELite.
The idea is to have fun, not win cash prizes  ;)

I think we once ran TR4, Arbarth, Alfa jnr, and maybe Tina at St Jovite once, and it was
a pretty close race. 3 Quite different cars here, some will suit some people more than others.
I will "probably" be in a TR4, I might use the Fiat if it's a field full of Coventry metal to shake
things up a bit.

Unfortunately not Mark. I have the ROTW P&G champ tomorrow, so... Have fun guys ;)

In any case I guess that Abarth vs TR4 would be a great match, and the Fiat shouldn't be so advantaged. Only the Elite is likely to be a bit slower in this group. I'll wait the race results. Good luck guys :)

I was about a second slower in the Abarth than the TR4. Admittedly, I have done more practice in the TR4, but I can't see myself improving that much with the Abarth.

Going to give the Elite another run out tonight if i get a chance, but otherwise i am 0.5 sec slower pb than with the TR4. Not tried the Abarth yet as i like the other 2 cars enough.

I was able to get some praccy in last night and tried the Zanussi which I instantly took to.

We have a lot of Zanussi here in Italy... What model is it?

Hope to join you chaps with the washing machine for this one 8)(I think affectionately the Abarth looks more like R2-D2 :D). Not so fast at 1:24's so far but a ton of fun at this place ;D I've watched this place many times on the tele with the V-8 supercars but never had the chance to sim race here ever so I have to come and play!! Love tracks with elevation change :o. What a shame this one just recently went by the wayside :(.

Well, it was fun for as long as it lasted.

In order to stay out of trouble, I intentionally started from the back of the grid. It seemed to work fine, I worked my way up til 5th place, but  :'(  unfortunately I got hit from behind in turn 1.
Shit happens, but the suspension was hurt pretty bad, so I quit.

I was having trouble keeping it straight under braking into T1/T2 all race and I'd totally lost control when I hit you. My judgement was carp all night tbh and I decided to quit out in the end  :(

@BIll. I saw you coming in very fast, so I accelerated a bit, but would have gone off if I'd gone
any deeper. no prob, it happens.

Sorry i had to quit, had a home emergency  :(  was running a solid 5th place at mid race with a 10+ sec gap to chasing pack but had no choice but to leave.  :'(

Good track, good cars and fun battling early on. :)

Nice to race again with the group. I'll need to practice more if I want to challenge John. I started to get back in the groove mid-race, but it still isn't enough. John was consistently .5 to 1 second a lap faster. Hopefully work will give me another break so I can join you guys again.
