I agree with Mark. Sorry to say but I won't be here for this race. I want to watch England in the "hope" that they win.

The server is now running a weather file similar to the one that will be generated for the race.

No chance of rain but, high temperatures.

What browser do you have? I know gamefront doesnt work too well with older versions. I think Clive had an issue before with gamefront.

Gamefront one does work for me with latest firefox, not much help tho.

Managed to get the track in a usable stare, however the same can't be said for the car. That Ferrari is just awful. It understeers and oversteers at the same time in the end after spinning 2 or 3 time per lap I just gave up to spare some embarrassment and to make sure that I can't be an obstacle to other racers.

P.S. Thanks for the help spanner. I kinda spun a bit and got stucked.

i love this track, very satisfying to get a fast lap. surprisingly i was in the middle of the pack in qualifying and the race which was exciting after usually struggling at the back! managed to not make any mistakes and was catching NSfast over the last few laps but spun under braking for a corner and ended up doing a 3 point turn to get back in the right direction and lost 10 secs and all hope of catching NSF. next weeks LMP2's round this track will need lots of concentration

I was fighting with TT for a few laps early on in the race which was nice but, it was a bit lonely after that. The gap in front kept getting bigger and the gap behind kept getting bigger for a lot of the race.

Grats Matteo.

Grats Berger for getting the championship.

Well done all and thanks for racing. :)

I raced in Portimao recently, so I knew this track very well. This Porka 997 is simply easy to drive and very fast.
After the qualif session, I thought that Berger would have been really close to my laptimes, so I started to push a lot by the frist laps of the race, with a great pace. After some laps, I put a small gap between us, and I realized that he couldn't keep my pace in the BMW. At the lap 17 I went to the pit with approximately 15 seconds on him, changing tyres and refueling. This time I put the soft on the front axle, and med on rear. The Pork was immediately faster, and I put 4 fastest laps in row after the pit.
It was strange that the car was still drivable with 120° on rear tyres, but I had no issues, til the track temperatures reached the 37°. Only during the last 5-6 laps I had some difficulties to keep it on the tarmac, but it was due only to the extreme high temperatures reached by the rear tyres. In the final stage I did some mistakes, but without compromizing the result.
To be honest, I guess this car had no rivals in a circuit like this. Easy to drive even with low wings, extreme easy braking, stable cornering. In some stages of the race, I felt like the autopilot was driving in my place.

Grats to Berger for the victory of the champ, H@l for 2nd place, and TT for 3rd, and thanks to all the drivers who joined these races.
I hope to be able to join the last LMP2 race, but I'm not so sure yet.

Cu :)
