UKGTR SEASON 16 Ford Fiesta Championship - Rounds 5 + 6 Silverstone National

Round 5 / Race 1

All members welcome

Practice 1: 20:00 BST (10 mins)
Qual 2:       20:10 BST (15 mins)
Race:          20:25 BST (15 Laps) - note: no warm up!

Cars allowed: Any Ford Fiesta ST from the Ford Fiesta ST car pack (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3356.msg54519#post_fiesta_st)
Track: Silverstone National (v1.0.0.2) (download from here (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3356.msg54519#post_silverstone)).
Race Start Time: 14:00

Weather: Dry.
Tyre wear: Normal.
Fuel consumption: Normal.
Pit Stops: No Mandatory Pit Stop.

Server: simracing.org.uk FFST
Password: see above (#post_event_password)

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3349.0)
(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R;group=356;theme=3)
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(4) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(5) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(6) The server will be set to 16.
(7) Please be aware that this is a 2 race event. At the end of race 1 the server will restart and drivers who are intending on participating in race 2 should rejoin the server using the same password and prepare for race 2





Round 6 / Race 2

All members welcome

Practice 1: NO PRACTICE
Qual 2:       20:50 BST (10 mins)
Race:          21:00 BST (20 Laps) - note: no warm up!

Race Start Time: 14:00

Fuel consumption: Normal.
Pit Stops: MANDATORY PIT STOP. You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

1:04 and a smidgin on this one.

Don't have much practice time.  How much quicker do I need to go?

Ill be having a wee practice on Monday evening before GTL I will post my time then. I cant remember what I was doing when I was testing the mod with the tracks before the champ started.

My PB is 1:03.635 but average around 1:04.0-1:04.5

The first race started really well got pole (first time for me :D ;D) but shortly after the start of the race went off into the gravel a wee bit and lost alot of time managed to claw some back though (sorry Clive)

Second race got 2nd in quali but then jumped the start a bit the in the panic stalled the car so had a stop/go the pitted lost about 40 or so seconds cos of that finished 4th as apex got DQ. unlucky apex. Thanks for joining guys and thanks again to H@L for setting the server.

See you Sunday for GT2's and next Wed for Snetterton with Fiestas.

A very fun couple of races once again. :)

Some nice battles with just about every other driver there at some point. :o
