WELCOME to the UKGPL Season 23 - Pro Trophy  

The 8th race of the season is at the long and varied Brno 49 circuit in the Czech Republic.
This is one of the GPL tracks that gives all kind of exitement to the drivers.

Pro drivers have a free car choice!
You have to keep your chosen car for the rest of the season,
you will only be allowed to swap chassis in exceptional circumstances and only with the approval of the moderator.

Please ensure you are aware of the new in-series penalties for this season. Details are here (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=10879.0).
Drivers incurring a penalty will receive a PM informing them of this."

There will be full moderation of lap one Red Zone and reported incidents for the rest of the race.
Please submit incident reports within a week after the race so that the moderators report may be out before the next race.
Full time drivers have priority access to the server until 21.00 UK time.

 a few laps of practice to remember the circuit....
when the race server is up a lap or two just to be sure the fuel level is OK...........
watch the other drivers jostle for pole , thinking that this circuit is maybe more about survival....
check race fuel level and setup as we go to the grid...........
watch the man with the green flag raised .......
hear the engine revs rise all around.............
remember to be careful through the fast section after turn 1
watch for flag to drop........................

Grats Podium! The survivers!

My engine just went off on the straight in Als tow in lap 3...

Didn't have an internet connection (Again  ::) ) last night so couldn't join you. I know what company I WON'T be using when I move into the new place in the next month or 2....

Doesn't begin with a 'B' & end and in a 'T' does it? They were appalling when I was with them - even continued billing me long after I'd left them & moved house despite about 50 calls & emails pointing out that I'd switched to another ISP several months prior :wacko:

My race was reasonable considering I was struggling to remember my way around here & was still tiptoeing around a bit during the race unsure of the limits. Was having a nice battle with Cookie for 4th place until his engine popped in my slipstream. After that a bit of a lonely run behind the leaders who really were in a different class. Congrats to Hristo & Goran. Shame about the small grid - finishing 3rd I only scored a handful more points than Cookie who retired early in the race :hammer:
