Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk GTC
Password: see above (#post_event_password)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=375&theme=5)

Special Notes: None

Of course - this will be the third time I'm able to watch them.

True living legends!

Climax would be if Neil Young joined ;-)

Might be a while until I can join GTL races  :(

My W7 upgrade went boobsup and I lost everything, so I'm now waiting on Steam to recover my a/c so that I can buy the digital version of GTL as I don't believe my old disk will get on with W7 64  ::)

Have fun.

Mmmm, that's no fun Goldtop. Hope that the upgrade is worthwhile for you still. I did enough fiddling on my PC lately, so I'll just keep my trusty XP for now.
As there is still is no baby at the Postal residence, i think i will join in tonight.

Your right. The GTL DVD and Windows 7 are enemies, don't try it, it will end in tears. If you still have your on line code from your GTL box you can enter it at the Steam site and I think get a free download (I think?). I don't think Simbin do downloads for GTL anymore?

Drivers are reminded that the maximum number of drives in any car is four. Check your status here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuS59xI7-YTLdEtrb081cnk5cHlKTl81cVRtTl9ST2c)
If I've got a number "3", does that mean I've got three more drives in that car or I've driven it 3 times?
I've looked the spreadsheet up & down, but can't work it out?

Check after this race and you'll see.    Drives left to go on that car.

Nice to be back at Dijon, it's been ages for me.
Took the VW for the 1st time in an attempt to finally try to tame it, but it's just too like a Porka for me (as stupid as the sounds) all engine braking corner entry oversteer.
I was off the pace & on my own in a car I was struggling with, so called time.
Enjoy the race the rest of you.

Cheers Bill, I'm sure Tony will make it instantly clear on the spreadsheet the next time he updates it :notworthy:

I'm hopeless lately.  Couldn't get the car to turn in - then got it right and put in new PBs in both practice and qualifying.

Race was a disaster, accelerated with wheels on kerb and flipped into Armco, losing the front spoiler.  After that the car was reluctant to turn into right handers.  After a couple of minor offs went off big time at the end of straight (T1) wrecking front suspension.  :gun_bandana: Put me out of my misery. ::)

Another flipping lost connection for me with 3 laps to go and Goldtop behind me (Ooer)

"3" means no off drives left in that car (unless I've screwed up)

Yep, DC on final corner for me (well that's where i left the server), I actually think I dc'd at the up hill hairpin a few seconds earlier.  That's where Geoffers disappeared.  I didn't know if it was him or me  :o that had left the server!

Shame, great fun 'till then. 2 Mustangs nose to tail for 33 laps, with ever decreasing levels of grip  ;D

I know DC's happen now and then, but it's very rare for me to DC from anything, I have a very stable connection.   So if there's a lot of DC's, for poeple, then could there be an issue somewhere?

Game froze on me half way around the final lap  ::). Oh well it was great fun wrestling the Mustang whilst trying to hold a slender gap over Ross. Well driven Ross.  :thumbup2:

Probably just a one off appearance for me so enjoy the rest of the season guys.

Yep, was great fun .

Pity it wasn't a 32 lap race, we'd have made the flag at least  :D

Well you can usually count on me to get beamed up, but not tonight  :sweatdrop:

Tony just suddenly disappeared in front of me with a couple of laps remaining. Geoffers froze just before the hairpin and Ross froze on the approach to the final turn both on the last lap. Very bad luck gents.

Nice race up until then desperately trying to close down Tony...well driven matey  :thumbup1:

Excellent race for me up to the point of my early departure. Kept up with the top two in the Mustangs for a few laps until I span. Then I was never able to make up the distance. Managed to keep GT behind me although some un forced errors by me let him by a couple of times but due to the Porsche's power on that long straight I could claw back the lead.
Shame you didn't get on with the VW Legzy. I think it's a cracking car. Let me know if you want a setup  ;)

Those disco's last night make me more determined to switch over to the Simbin lobby. More on this later.

Thanks to those who turned out, hope to see more of you in the future?

Quicksilver384's drive in the Porsche will not be included in the drive tally as he never appeared on the start grid.

As there is still is no baby at the Postal residence, i think i will join in tonight.

Whoops. i was wrong there. ::) Last night my wife gave birth to a baby girl! All is well here.
Looked like a good race there, to bad about the disconnects again. I am planning to be back for the race at Bremgarten with you guys. Congrats to the podium.
