Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk FIFT
Password: see above (#post_event_password)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=374&theme=5)
(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

I pleadingly hope to be back for this one, but atm I can't find a way to get online with all my GTL installs ???
P&G seems to be ok. I'll try again tonight.

And still a lot of work remaining - I could imagine a better activity with all this hot weather  ::)

Maybe a noob question: is there anywhere a an instruction manual for that issue?

How far does GTL get before it stops? Have you been asked to enter an online code number? That's not the number on the disc/manual. It was a sticky label on the case.

I entered the online-key on the back of the manual, not the dvd-serial.

When I try to login I get the message: "general login error".

Have to say that I was forced to create a new player-name as I had to install
the "GTL-cheat" again after I lost all credit and could not select cars.

 :hang:

looks like I'll be out indefinitely.

System crashed again - this time with complete loss of the partition where all games and software were located >:(
Fortunately I've a backup but need time for reinstalling all that stuff.

Just trying to recover the lost partition but I think I'll rejoin only in august when UKGTL has changed to the simbin lobby.

Sh.. happens - I'm very sorry guys  :(

Sad I couldn't make it - you wouldn't have seen me (except in your mirrors!) anyway.

Hope it was fun.

First win for me hope not the last. I made a mistake at the beggining and hristo itchov avoided to crash me :) I think trhat's the reason everybody slowed down because we were at the front and  made a little gap and began waiting for Itchov to come who changed his car on Q and was not very fast first laps. Made lots of mistakes and quickly saw him in the mirror but he spinned. Then after several laps he came again but got disconnected by the game  ;D I started to drive safe and keep the tyres because i don't know if we have to pit. After several laps i saw Ross's name in the bushes behind me and stepped on the gas but this caused me several little crashes. At the end i managed to keep the position. This car is a lot faster but was hard for me to handle.

Just couldn't get the approach to the hairpin right - kept losing it and travelling sideways into corner after my 3rd cut track warning I decided to quit the unequal battle.

By the way Tony, you had a lower ping last night - got your fibre connection?

Yep, been running on 100MB fibre since 4th July. Been getting pretty good figures too, mostly 100+ but sometimes dropping to 40+. Still way better than I was getting through the BT copper (7MB).

Chose a slower car last night for this circuit mindfull that I had limited choice for the forthcoming faster tracks so was pretty pleased to get a podium due to the missfortune of others. Don't know what happened to Mike. One minute he was on the the start line then gone!

Once the leaders had left me I spent most of the race tootling along on my own. But by the race end I was really enjoying throwing that much dented and abused D Type around.

Not a bad turnout despite the UK weather at the mo.  :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop:

He he, no Goldtop so I take the lead in the Championship Mha ha ha ha  8)
