Round Info & Scheduling

Races will be on Thursday with race starting at 21:00 UTC. Races will be run two weeks on, one week off (please see the relevant race thread for full details). A typical race meeting will run as follows:

Meet on Teamspeak @ 21:45 UTC (15mins)
Race starts @ 21:00 UTC (~45mins)

Points System

Based on the BTCC system. So, 1 point for pole (when Qualifying is implemented) and 1 point for fastest lap.

Race Day

One final note the race will be starting promptly at 21:00 UTC so please have your setups ready. Also this is a long race (~45mins) please do not leave the server as soon as the race starts because you got off the line badly or there was an accident.

We want as many finishers as possible with everyone enjoying the race. Yes there may be people faster than you but is very possible you will be in your own race with guys running at your pace.

One final point, as the race is long you don't have to overtake everyone in the first corners take your time and I guarantee you will have fun.

does seem interesting, as i do like pCARS from what little i've run of it but its a bit confusing reading the info posted. Draft? What do you mean by draft? Your randomly picking the combos each week then? why saturdays if the races are thursdays? Is it the saturday before the race?

I have to say the lack of garage setup adjustments so you can feel the differences mean i tend to just do a few laps in the default setups.

drafting means putting the options in to a randomiser, then we run with whatever comes out. It is not necessarily done on Saturdays, i have just done it now for round 4. I guess i put it like that so it is done by saturday so it gives people a chance to practice with the car at the circuit and make the best setup they can.

I don't know if you have driven recently but the setup adjustments are quite comprehensive now, i don't think there is anything else you could add, i admit it is a little annoying you cannot change the settings while at the circuit but it doesn't take long to leave and load the circuit again, but it is a pre alpha game so it is barely finished yet.
