Weather: Dry

Tyre wear: x2
Fuel consumption: x2
Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3349.0) - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(3) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(4) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(5) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

This is an official event. Stats from the race will be stored permanently.

This will also be the first time we have used GTC at LeMans. The GTC records are therefore up for grabs. :)

I intend to drive the Radical LMP2 myself.

I have not sorted the fuel strategy on the Radical setup and I can not remember what race length the Lola setup was made for. I have not had time to double check the Lola setup but, it should be wing 1 and splitter 1.

My setups are not to everyone's taste but, some elements such as wing and possibly gear ratios are probably near enough to a half decent setup.

The LMP2 qualy record is beatable but I am not so sure about the race lap record. ;D

I haven't had a single lap of anywhere in anything since last Sunday so I will be trying hard to make starter's orders on this if I can.

Be surprised if I make it to a pit stop though!

Well after 4 months of self imposed no racing (16 months away from anything non-iRacing :o) I finally made my comeback 8)

Didn't last long, lap 2 almost turn 1 & everybody just froze & I reintroduced myself to Clive's rear end (was good to be back ;))... though hopefully my apparent "disconnection" meant he never felt a thing(?)

My game didn't stop, so I enjoyed a few laps & managed a 3:42 which H@L assures me wasn't too bad a comeback effort. :laugh:

Great combo, will definitely be back for more soon & hopefully quite regular again.

I assumed you had joined the race just to ram me and then left!

Didn't realise that you had disconnected. It knocked me a bit squiffy but nothing too drastic.

Thanks to H@L for setting up the race.  I could have done with some more beginers but to be honest it was enough of a challenge to get to the finish and sort out the pit stops, never mind trying to race.
