Season 24 - Novices Trophy

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 65 F1 only
Date: Every second Tuesday from 22 January 2013
Time: no later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: Long
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server: UKGPL_3
Race List: IGOR

The provisional calendar may be changed at the discretion of the Divisional Moderator.
 
Handicapping
Race 1 & 2 is a free choice of car. From Race 3 the Championship Leader and second & third placed drivers may be handicapped. All others have free choice & may keep the same chassis or switch for different races.

What does (FT) and (R1) stand for please?

FT is Full Time and R1 is Reserve.

Basically, if youn commit to 75% or more of the races then you get first go. The reserves have to give way if the grid is full. I've only known it happen once that reserves have had to come off because, as you know, driver attendance is often patchy.

I'm new to UKGPL and I want to enter the Novices championship. I voted at the top of the thread.

Welcome to UKGPL Ivan. As you've voted and been added to the driver list....you should now be able to see the password for tonights race. If not, let myself or Badblood know and it shall be fixed.

Welcome Tony to UKGPL. You have been entered into the driver list and you should see the server password when it is released, found at the very top of the Race Post Tony...and Martin. Any further help needed, simply yell. Perhaps some practice on a server with other league drivers would be a help....I'll try to get a server put up a couple of days before the event so you you can get some track time in company. Gives us a chance to have a look at you, and you at us, as we might be able to get you closer to the pace if required.
