Anyone done any laps here yet? according to those circuit laptimes above, im only as quick as a Cobra or Pantera in my modern GTC car  :-\   Got nothing else to measure against laptime wise so feel free to post up  ;)

I think you're being a tad ambitious, thinking you could keep up with me in my 70's Pantera :P

So was that your way of telling us you're doing 2:08's MJ? I'll see if I can knock out some laps tonight after PnG to help you know how much more time you need to find :whistling:

I'm not even sure if we're racing the same layout as we did in PnG  :-\

My practice laps so far have been on the longer circuit that we used in the past for a GT1 race as I assumed it would be that one.

While we're on the subject of laptimes, I'm just trying to recall who took fastest lap in the PnG race

Is this the modern stripe track or the one weve run in GTL which features a rather too short front straight!

It's the modern stripey one spanner, the full gt layout(I assume), that's what I set my times on.

Yeah, it'll be the "GT" layout for GTR2, we used the old fashioned (but better) "PR" layout for PnG. Which would be why my 70's car was the same pace as MJ's modern GTC car .

So I think H@L needs to change the track we're using in LM2, as it shouldn't be showing the PnG laptimes from a different layout. I'm pretty sure we've had GTR2 races here too, which should display their records (once the right track is in LM2).

2:07 is the best I've done so far (Race trim).

Should be a good circuit for the Viper. Initial forrays suggest 2:08s for me in the Exige (which I'm actually beginning to like quite a lot  :tt1:)

Didn't take you long to set that! I had to bang around for an hour before I reached my time, also set with full tank.  :) think this circuit suits the fezza better than the rear heavy 911.

Yes.

EDIT
If you click on 'scoring' next to the heading 'GTC - Drivers Championship' on this table:
https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=397&theme=4&scoring=778#ch778

It should show the scoring system in use.

Yes, you lose about 20% of the points you earn in the race you take your 3rd car.

That should be sorted now.

Just pick which ever car makes you happy, I'd rather race you in a car you enjoy than you try to race in one you don't. :)

Grrr, 2nd last round, DNf  this time  :(

Knew it was going to be tough eve when grip level/setup suddenly felt all different. Had a duff qually.

Race start was an equal disaster, got snap oversteer on lap 2 and ended up in the gravel along with goldtop and 12+ secs down as a result  :'(
Still, cracked on, car was good though twitchy, caught a few cars and ended up in a good battle for 6th with Tgc and srw and looking at some good points on the table. This went on for a few laps and was good fun, but alas Tgc span in front of me off a kerb. I hit the anchors but still hit him, but worse srw slammed into my rear and broke off the rear wing  :( I couldn't continue as car span on first corner I tried to turn into and was undriveable, race over.
Bum.

only managed about 0.75 hours praccy for this, so was pleased to be comfortable by the end of qually, settled into a good battle with TGC, we were very evenly matched, then as Mark J mentioned above TGC span and we hit the anchors, i tried to go round the outside but hit Mark (sorry for that). then i just counted down the laps till the end with a big gap behind/infront.

Urph  :(

Made a right mess of the first flying lap and spinning into the gravel and stalling, then got lost trying to rejoin  ::) I eventually managed to catch up, but just as I was approaching H@L I lost the back end going into T1 and then got lost again  :wetfish:

With a couple of minutes to go I caught and passed H@L and a recovering Spanner and was closing on JPV when I spun again :( Worst still, as I rejoined I got the dreaded connection lost message....again  >:(

Really enjoying the Exige, but it's as skittish as a skittishthing from skittyland  ::)

Didn't really get a good lap in during qually & so found myself about 6th I think (I was up by over 1sec on my final lap but it jumped to race session with 2 corners to go ::))

Race started well, got past everyone easily enough with VIPER POWER!!!
I then matched the laptimes of the two guys ahead fo lap after lap till half way, I span braking at the mid-straight chicane & gave up 10 secs of the lead I'd built up to Apex in 4th.
Got going again & was edging away again, then with about 7 mins to go I face planted myself into the barriers at the same spot. ::)
This time Apex got past & while I was able to close the gap, the damage I'd picked up was enough to stop me getting a chance to strike :'(
Very entertaining last 7-8 mins it was though 8)

Congrats all finishers & bad luck to those who didn't.

@Goldtop: I think I had 'coast' set to 100% to try to keep on top of that Exige at corner entry one season I tried it, not sure that was enough though

Yes Legzy, I usually run a high coast but the Exige just wasn't having it here in those tight corners. Ran with 80% in the end.

Course it would help if the damn thing was more than 4ft long  ::)

Don't look at the league table MJ, there seems to be some kind of mistake :-\ ;)
RoadRunner's a dark horse, maximum points scored after two rounds :o
