Struggling with the Exige here. As much as I like this circuit, getting in and out of the slow corners is very hit and miss and it's not that good in the flowy stuff either. Tested a couple of the other cars and I'm immediately faster and found them a lot easier to drive too which is worrying. Any times yet? My best so far is a late 1:57 in race trim  ::)

well that was fun.

Had a great battle with SRW which I nearly had him but he kept the inside line so he managed to stay ahead for the first 8 laps or so then I spun done a few more laps and hit a wall and knackered the suspension.

See ya next week for the LMP's

Never driven this track before & had five laps in a row with Apex that were an example of absolutely the best driving/fight I've ever been involved in.
Hats off to you Apex, you watched my Viper power zoom past you 5 laps in a row on the straight & you earned your way back past me all 5 laps, no mater how hard I tried to make it!
Absolutely tremendous on your part sir :euro:

Bit disappointed with the way things worked out, as I felt the top four of us could have been fighting & swapping places from start to finish. :)

that was a close race QS, would have been interesting if you had kept going as the tyres started to wear out badly towards the end and it was a real struggle to stay on the track, looking forward to the LMP2's here next week, especially as i will be seeing the real things at the Silverstone 1000kms earlier on in the day!

Wahaay my first UKGTR win (as far as I can remember)  :-\

Had a very close battle with Daniel for the first few laps and got close to him a couple of times after he'd made small errors. Finally snuck past as he went deep again into T1 and managed to use the Exige power to get away. I struggled all night with the handling which was so unpredictible and edgy and I had to be very cautious in the corners. I think I must have caught Daniel out with my slow apex speed as he got into the back of me mid corner and spun out trying to avoid me.

Managed to keep my concentration to the end and did just enough to take the win  :sweatdrop: :balloon:

I could not take part in the race as I was too tired from running around the woods with toy guns all day.

Gutted! I love the track. :(

I hope you all had fun. See you at the next race.
