thx :)

Tristan there are Sebring 64 and 67 available, but the link in the race post leads to the 67 version.

As Paul is not available atm we will do the 67.

Managed to nip 4 th tonight right before Dean. Haappy with that  ;D. The race was fun. Some E.69x (who can that be?) bumped me wide so I lost some spots early on but no damage.  Then some mister Mercaldo had an interesting rejoin gust in front of me but I managed to brake down. Then the big messups: First I loose my rear while looking how far behind mercaldo was then next lap I loose it again while calculating how H could be 7 secs behind me. Driving instead of meditating is always a winner. Lost a podium there but obviously I wasn t the only one out there doing mistakes so all in all I m very pleased with 4 th. The last two laps was exciting being chased by two cars behind me within sliprange, but they seem to mess for each other. Dean came up my behind last straight but a defensive positioning he did towards me during practice race worked just as well for me in the race as it did for him during practice so thx again for showing me Dean :) :) :thumbup2:

Apologies to Bob for that rearending, missed the right side banner and picked the next one instead.. ::) Glad it didn't mess up your result in the end.

Not the best of races for me, after that collision I had to wait to rejoin safely, was far behind and started making mistakes by myself out of distraction. Glad the next one is soon. Grats to TristanBot and podium.

Sorry for the confusion over the tracks. It was always Sebring67 which was the release with the GT Mod - just called it Sebring in the post for brevity. To be honest, I was at the National Theatre watching Othello and I forgot to post the races so BIG THANKS to Cookie.

Noted that we only had 4 in the Heavies - we will just put the grids together if it continues like that.

Driving instead of meditating is always a winner.

Doesnt it feel like meditation when you are in the zone? When I really manage to get into the flow, for me it does.

e-69x?? ::)   That might be a certain evil character??  Big apologies if there was contact, I have not looked at the replay Tom.

From memory I guess it was on the bend leading onto the straight? I think you went a little deep into the corner and I took the chance to try and pass. I did not feel any contact at that point, but I did notice that you were the wrong side of the haybales when I looked in my mirrors, so I think there might be some warp contact involved. Again, apologies if I di biff you off.

I am almost beginning to believe that I have cured my "disco" problems. I think that makes 4 races now without a sudden exit...............but maybe it is too soon to get too happy.

When I saw the choice of track I must confess that I did not think that it would be good for 69 racing, how wrong I was!! I had a storming race from 8th on the grid picking up places until I was up to a comfortable 2nd place at about half distance. Tristan was in a class of his own and was out of sight by then, so I was concentrating on holding the gap back to Bob in his Brabham.
Maybe I am wrong but it seemed to me that there were two sorts of set up in use. High wing angles for handling and low wing angles for speed, which made things very interesting ;D
A moments lack of concentration leading on to the straight and I tested the resilience of the haybales and that put Bob back into 2nd with Piero  threatening to pas me as well. I managed to close the gap to Bob again and with a lap to go I pressured him into a small error at the Esses and swept majestically into 2nd spot ..........................only to see smoke in the mirrors and get that sickening feeling that comes with a blown engine.
The last lap was torture as I limped around to the flag watching my 2nd place evaporate to 7th or 8th by the flag. :-\

I enjoyed some great racing and especially enjoyed finishing another race.

Grats to Tristan and the podium and thanks to Bob for some great racing.

I went deep indeed to leave room for you in case you were coming. From my rpy you slid sideways into me but no worries. It s not often we touch.
