Race Start Time: 14:00

Tyre wear: x2
Fuel consumption: x2
Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3349.0) - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(3) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(4) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(5) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

The download link seems to be working OK for me. Make sure you are looking at the LeMans Revived version and not the virtua LM 77/79 version.

My weekend away has been cancelled :( so I hope to race instead :) Be the slower cars for me though.

So long since I've done a race with 1 pitstop, let alone the 10 I'll need with 2xfuel/tyres :P, I had better practice so I know what the switches are!

I'll be in GT2 assuming i can make it. Wont be popular at home considering i will be watching as many hours of the real race all weekend as humanly possible  :)

I have a few questions/suggestions

is it possible to accelerate time in GTR2? (i.e. could we start the race in daylight, then race in darkness, then finish in daylight?)
If so is anyone up for doing it in this race?

i havent decided whether to use LMP2 or GT2, but would like to race in the class with the biggest field, has everyone decided what they will be racing yet?

Just did a 4:10 in my GT2, though I suspect there will be more than 5 secs to come off that (especially seeing the lap record! :o)

So me turning up having done no practise as i'm watching the real thing probably wont end well then!

think I will probably go for GT2 as although I like the lmp2, with limited time to practice I will probably struggle to keep it off the barriers at Lemans

Having spent an hour or two yesterday, then another hour practicing tonight, very gutted to lose connection at the end of lap 1. :(

Race was going well I lost first fairly early on but kept within 20s of the top 2 GT2's but then with about 7 mins left made mistake after mistake eventually went strait on into the wall and race over. Not happy  :censored: :censored: :cursing:

Had to pit twice. :( If Pete and QS only knew...  :D

Grats to all who finished, tough and hot race. Must be like real, eh? ;)

Tried to get out of the way of one LMP2 in quali (blue one), went the wrong way, sorry for that. Hope it was not Spanner (again)...  ::)

We were debating that on TeamSpeak but we reckoned you stopped a lap earlier to brim up and run to the end. Well driven.

Sadly I 'brushed' the wall coming out of the last chicane and it killed the engine just after the hour mark :(

If i knew you had to pit again tt i would have taken it easy lol i was pushing on the limit in the hope that i would catch u up but must have pushed a wee bit too hard lol

Good stuff, though. You were very quick in that car. :)

It was shaping up to be a good race for me as well, despite a few early mistakes.
