All members welcome. Practice 1: 20:00 BST (15 mins) Qual 2: 20:15 BST (15 mins) Race: 20:30 BST (30 mins approx) - Race will have a lap count. Number of laps TBA Cars allowed: Any GT1 from the UKGTR car pack (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3356.msg54519#msg54519) v2.16.0.0 Track: Silverstone 2011 Download and install this (https://www.simracing.org.uk/downloads/s3.php/gtr2/tracks/SRou_GTR2_Silverstone_2011_1.0.1.0.exe) Race Start Time: 14:00 Tyre wear: normal Fuel consumption: normal Pit Stops: none required Server: simracing.org.uk GT1 Password: see above (#post_event_password) Notes: (1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3349.0) - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages. (2) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above). (3) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced. (4) Please use the Driver Details (https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=profile;sa=driver_info) page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name). Splendid race! I reckon TT & Apex must have been driving round eating ice cream at the front for the first half, we had a nice little train going back to 5th spot for about 6-7 laps! :laugh: Was really good. Trying to pressure TT (who was attacking Apex), Spanner keeping me honest from behind & Pete doing the same to Spanner 8) Well chuffed with my fastest lap, I was really disappointed in my qually, I just couldn't get a lap were i got it remotely right. Still not a fan of that new layout but was fun. i started to lose touch a bit as my tyres started to wear out. GT1 around this track is one of my favourite combinations :) |
